Caught a Bug

Hello, it is Shirley posting today.  I have made a Get Well card to share with you.   I decided to keep it in monochromatic colors.

I started my card with a green card base and followed with a layer of vanilla.  I used Graphic 45 Botanical Tea designer paper for the top layer.

I cut the little jar  from vanilla paper using the Sweet 'n Sassy Get Well Critters Dies.  I stamped the bug and colored him with markers.  For fun, I added some googly eyes hoping it will bring a smile to the recipient.

The sentiment was stamped on vanilla card stock that I  cut using the Spellbinders A2 Divine Eloquence dies.  I sponged around it with green ink.  I added a twine bow at the top  for the finishing touch.

Thank you for looking at my card!

The CCNS inventory is quickly shrinking, so if there is something you have your eye on, I would recommend ordering it right away.  Many items have only one or two left.   When they are gone, they are gone!

Thanks for stopping by!!!  Until next time...

UH Oh-Ouch!!!

Good Morning.   It is Shirley posting today.   I have made a cute country themed card to share with you and hopefully it is one that will bring a smile to the recipient.

My card was started with a black card base.  The next layers I used were made with paper from the Graphic 45 French Country paper pad.

I stamped the little wounded chicken from the Sweet n' Sassy Get Well Critters stamp set.  He was colored with markers and then cut out with the Sweet n' Sassy Get Well Critters dies.

I stamped a tree on a white piece of card stock that was cut with a stitched die.  I added grass and sponged in some clouds.  I added a couple of sentiments from the stamp set.  I then put Joy Foam Pads Small on the little chick to pop him up on the card stock.  I added a bow for the finishing touch.

Thanks for taking a peek at my card.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Be Mine

Good afternoon! Joy here showing you another Valentine card I made with supplies from the Classy Cards 'n Such online store.

This one is for one of my grand daughters who loves butterflies.  The paper is from Key to My Heart by Kaisercraft.  The butterfly is from Majestic Monarchs Stamp Set by Sweet 'n Sassy.  It was fussy cut - very close to the edge.  Then a the matching butterfly die from Majestic Monarchs Die Set was cut from white card stock.  Then I traced around the outside of the die on some Heavy Weight Vellum and fussy cut it out.  The top butterfly was colored with Copics and then I layered the three butterflies using Small Joy Foam Pads.  The sentiment is from Hugs & Kisses by JustRite.

Thanks for looking at my card.  Have a Happy Stamping Day.

Beauty of the Season

Good Morning! Joy here today. The Classy Cards 'n Such online store has the supplies I used to make this card.

The first thing was to pull out my favorite die set from My Favorite Things called Blueprints 4 along with the die set called Silverdale Snowflake Duet by Memory Box, the Spellbinders Labels Eighteen and die cut them all out using the paper from the 6x6 paper pad Candy Cane Lane Collection by Bo Bunny.

The sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy called Christmas Joy and was heat embossed with Sparkle 'n Sprinkle's White Detail Embossing Powder on a piece of Heavy Weight Vellum. The little heart was added and the snowflakes were covered with Wink of Stella - wish I could get the pretty sparkle to show up in photos. It only took a few minutes to arrange the elements.

Thanks for looking at my card. Have a Happy Stamping Day.

Christmas Shaker Card

Hello! Diana here to share with you a shaker card for this most joyous holiday. I first sponged a stitched rectangle made with MFT Blueprints 13 with a couple of distress inks: Evergreen Bough and Wild Honey. I then die cut the Memory Box Cabrini Ornament three times out of the sponged rectangle. I then inlaid the outline of the ornaments back in and made it the shaker front using clear cardstock, small Joy! foam pads, sequins, beads, and rhinestones. The backing of the shaker was another sheet of white card stock matted with red card stock cut with the largest rectangle die from Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics A.

I made my "tree branches" using Impression Obsession Pine Branch and topped it off with a sentiment from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Christmas Joy on a fish tail banner.

Have a happy and blessed Thanksgiving!!

Shimmering Christmas

Hello!  Diana here today.

I made a Christmas card for this week's Ornament Challenge.  I started with a white stitched rectangle base made with MFT Blueprints 13 and then smooshed with acetate two different greens in the corner:  Evergreen Bough and Mowed Lawn.  I then die-cut Memory Box Loopy Loop Wreath out of glittered red card stock and  Memory Box Cabrini ornament out of white card stock.  I filled in the Cabrini ornament with die cuts out of Shimmer Sheetz Purple Iris and Peridot Gemstone which is really hard to photograph!  :)

For my final touch, I stamped Merry Christmas (from Sweet 'n Sassy Christmas Joy) and die cut it out with a sweet little curved banner from Sweet 'n Sassy Banner dies set and popped it up with small Joy! foam pads in the bottom corner.

Hope you can play along!
