Thank You Friend

Hello, Joy here today!  Today's card was made using supplies from Classy Cards 'n Such.

My goal for this card was to make it masculine, because it uses paper from a Graphic 45 paper pad called Raining Cats and Dogs. But, wow - out popped a very feminine card!

The black and white paper is from Kaisercraft called Storyteller.

The leaves are a die frame called Massa Leaf Frame by Memory Box, which is under a Nested Oval Medallion Labels die from Spellbinders, with the framed lady and dog from Raining Cats and Dogs paper pad on top.

The "Thank You" is from Floral Fan Elements by JustRite, and the "Friend" sentiment is from Hugs and Kisses, also by JustRite. The black frame is popped up using Joy Large Foam Pads.

Now off to make a masculine card - hopefully.  Thanks for looking at my card.  Have a HAPPY stamping day!

Mittens 'n Snowflakes

It is Shirley posting today.  I have another Christmas card for you today.  It is pretty, quick and easy.  That is the card recipe we all are looking for now that we are in the mode of finalizing Christmas cards.

I started off today with a white card base. I cut the second layer of the card from BlueBell Star Dream Metallic card stock. Next I layered with bluebell paper with white card stock that I have embossed with an embossing folder from my collection.

Now comes the fun part where we get to decorate the card. I used the  Impression Obsession Small Snowflake die set.to cut the snowflakes from glitter paper. I used the Memory Box Precious Mittens die using glitter paper and the BlueBell Star Dream Metallic paper.

I stamped a verse from the Impression Obsession Christmas  Sentiments with VersaMark on the front of my white embossed card stock. I used Silver Detail embossing powder over the VersaMark. I placed the snow flake and mittens die cuts on my card and adhered them with Art Institute Clear Adhesive.  I used clear Rhinestones that I colored with a blue Copic marker to finish up my card.

Thank you for taking a look at my card, and come back tomorrow for another great card.

Good Thoughts

Hello there! It's Gracie, and I'm happy to have the chance to share with you a card I made using gorgeous supplies from Classy Cards 'n Such!

I love to add encouraging sentiments to my cards, and Classy Cards 'n Such carries many beautiful stamp sets with uplifting messages. Today my card features one of these stamps, with a saying I firmly believe in.

I started out by die cutting a base layer from Stardream Rose Quartz using Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics A. Then I die cut a filigree frame using Our Daily Bread's Vintage Flourish Pattern.

The patterned paper I used is actually digital, and I printed it on White Pearl Linen  Next I stamped and heat embossed in Gold Detail, a sentiment from Inky Antics Holy Spirit's Fruit stamp set. Centering the already stamped sentiment, I die cut the cardstock with a gorgeous new die from Spellbinders called Victorian Medallion Two, and stenciled the center with Distress Ink in Spun Sugar.

Before mounting all the pieces to my pink card base, I added a piece of gross grain white ribbon across the center of the layers, vertically. (You could use Egg Shell Seam Binding and color to your needs). Next I adhered the layers to the card base, followed by the medallion right on the center. Finally, I added a small bow on the bottom of the medallion, embellished with a gold vintage button.

I hope I've inspired you today both with the beautiful sentiment, as well as with the card itself! Abstract Birthday

Hello friends, Mindy here, sharing a card for a masculine birthday with you today.  I have trouble making cards for gentlemen, whether they are family or friends.  I think it is all in my mind, but I am hesitant to begin designing them whenever a birthday is near.

I hope you will enjoy this card, and check out all of the New merchandise available at the Classy Cards n' Such online store.

I started by making my A2 size card base from a half sheet of the amazing So...Silk Glamour Green card stock. This paper is so beautiful, and makes such a wonderful card base. I then looked through my stash of mono and multi-print papers that I pulled from my Gelli Plate by Gelli Arts. I love making this printed paper in my spare time, when not designing cards.  I trim down my pages to fit the A2 size card so they are ready to use when I want to make a card or project. I then took a coordinating sheet from the Foil Paper - Textured Patterns 1 paper pack, and cut several squares and rectangles from it.

After adhering these shapes in a pleasing pattern I cut a sheet of the gold, from the same pack, with the Flower Vine die cut from Anna Griffin. I cut this design apart in three pieces and adhered them to the card front.

To complete this card, I attached a square of the textured paper with Large Foam Pads from Joy! to add some depth and dimension, and a birthday greeting from the Greeting Set dies from Impression Obsession.

I hope you have a wonderful day full of blessings!
