Green Carpet

In Almere City a green carpet has been created in the Weerwater, a big lake in the city centre.

In the centre of the lake a new fountain has been placed, that represents the hartbeat of the city.

A Frankey!

 At the courtyard of the "Kunstlinie" Museum in Almere I noticed a real "Street Art Frankey"!

Street Art Frankey (pseudomyn of Frank de Ruwe) is a Dutch artist who wants to positively influence the street scene with relatively small and often inconspicuous works of art.

 Our local art hall  "Kunstlinie" had opened again after all the months of Covid closure. So at last we could visit an art exhibition  "Shapeshifters" about the raw beauty and versatility of Urban Arts and Culture. I was so impressed  by all the diversity and colours, I forgot to notice the names of the artists.

Cat Cafe

I had a drink in the "Cat Cafe" in Almere. Several cats are walking around and you can pet them while having a tea or coffee.

Some sit on a pole.

This beauty was playing and had been drinking water under my chair.
