When I open my bedroom window I see thise glorious flowering shadbush (serviceberries? Amelanchier?) at the moment.

Anyway whatever its name is in english, I like my "krentenboompje". With the unusual high temperatures to 20 degrees C ( 68F)  we had last week, the spring nature is starting early this year.

This is the view from my bedroom window at the moment. Our krentenboom, shadbush, serviceberries or whatever you name it, is blooming abundantly.

I had a walk yesterday in our neighbourhood and didn't expect to see something special. But then I passed by this beauty which must have started to blossom in one day. I had no camera with me,  grrr but I have a husband who never goes out without one and he was so sweet to make a photo for me. So the credits are for sccollections

And this is the currants tree in front of our home. Most blossoms have gone now. We still have nice weather but it is a bit colder now, we even had a frosty night, something we haven't had during last winter at all.
