Embroidery

 There was a time when I embroidered a lot. Here are a few examples hanging on my bedroom wall. I have a lot more but they are all locked up somewhere at the attic. I once started  a  huge work of the "French "Tapis the Bayeux". That was a bridge to far I never finished it. It became a joke in the family, did you finish the  "Tapestry" yet?

 Fellow blogger "Bertiebo" had lately a post about embroidery she had made and I was surprised to see an almost simular piece I have made when I was 10 years old. This patch was intended for learning how to embroider cross stitches. I remember my mother had even a simular one made when she was a child. So I suppose it was a kind of tradition to make one as a child.
