Christmas Tags (Part 1)

Here are a few of the Christmas tags I have made this year.  I'm sure there will be more to come as well.  :)

I used a tag shape from the Cricut cartridge "Phrases."  The white background panel was stamped with snowflakes in a pale grey ink.  The stamp is from Jaded Blossom, the Holiday Splatters stamp set.

The dog is a cut file from SVG Cutting Files, called Winter Puppy.  I used a Peachy Keen stamp for the face.  It is part of the Happy-Go-Lucky Dog Face Assortment.  The sentiment is also from Jaded Blossom, the Season's Tweetings stamp set.  I finished it off with a bow at the top, tied in some green baker's twine.

For the back I used the Sweet Treats stamp set for the "to" and "from."  The paw is from the Kitty Kitty stamp set and the sentiment is from Dog-Gone Awesome.

The cat is also from SVG Cutting Files, it is called Winter Kitty.  I also used a Peachy Keen stamp for the face.  It is from the Here Kitty Kitty Face Assortment.  I used the same sentiment as for the dog tag and also tied a bow at the top, this time in red baker's twine.

For the back I used the same Sweet Treats stamp set for the "to" and "from."  I used another size paw print from Kitty Kitty stamp set for the paws.  The sentiment is also from the same stamp set.

The snowflake tag shape is from the Cricut cartridge "Tags, Bags, Boxes, & More 2."  The snowman and all his accessories were cut with Jaded Blossom dies, the Snowman Dies set.  I used the Snowman Faces (add-on) from Jaded Blossom for the face.  I added a little bling to the snowflake and used two different shades of blue baker's twine for the tie.

I used stamps from the Christmas Kindness stamp set for the "to" and "from."

Monster Bash

I created a cute little monster-themed birthday card!

The card is 5 1/2"x4 1/4" and made of white card stock.  I used the Card Mat Dies to cut the orange polka dot card stock, then I used the Border Dies 2 to cut the mat to make it look like a balloon.  Both dies are from Jaded Blossom.  I then used a light blue baker's twine for the string of the balloon.

The adorable little monster is from Lettering Delights.  He is part of the Mini Monster cut set.  I used the Dot Fade stencil by Tim Holtz to give my little monster some texture to his body.  I used old paper Distress Ink for the coloring.  I used a Peachy Keen face stamp for his face instead of the cut pieces.  It is part of the Quick and Simple Emojis Face Assortment.  I added him to the card, then curled his fingers around the twine to make him look like he is holding the balloon.

The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.  It is part of the Happy Birthday stamp set.

Spooky Spider Treats

Today I did a little more crafting and made this fun Halloween treat bag.

I used the Jaded Blossom Goody Bag Die to create the treat bag.  I then used one of the dies from Rectangle Dies 1 to cut the lime green mat for my treat bag.

I used the Jaded Blossom stamp set, Pick Your Poison, to stamp the sentiment.  I then used the Spider Stew Cuttlebug folder to emboss the mat.  Once embossed I inked up the lines with twisted citron Distress Ink.

My image is from SVG Cutting Files.  It is the Kawaii Spider Eyeball Cupcake.  I hid the face and used a stamp from Peachy Keen instead.  It is from the Itchy Stitchy Face Assortment.  I used the mouth from the largest face and the eyes from the next largest face.  I then colored in the mouth with a grey marker and used white gel pen on his fangs.  I also chalked his cheeks.  I added some red marker doodling to the eyes, to make them look bloodshot, and also used black enamel accents to make the pupil.  The blood icing and eyeball are covered with glossy accents.  I adhered the spider with foam tape in the middle and glued down the edges for some dimension.

Little Ghost

Okay, so I have another Halloween craft for you today.  This time it is a card:

The card base and its layers are from SVG Cutting Files.  It is part of the April Cut Club set, it is called "Card Sketch 24."

The adorable little ghost is also from SVG Cutting Files.  It is also part of the Cut Club, but this one is from August.  I hid the face and used a stamp from Peachy Keen.  It is from the Beginner Happy Family Emojis Face Assortment.  I adhered the ghost with foam tape and covered its eyes in glossy accents.

The three "boos" in the background are from the Halloween Treats 2 stamp set by Jaded Blossom.  I used the Halloween Treats stamp set and the Funny Bunny stamp set, also from Jaded Blossom, to create the speech bubble and sentiment.

Cupcakes!

I have cupcakes for you today!

Both cards are 5 1/2"x4 1/4."  I used white card stock for the card base.  I then used one of the Card Mat Dies from Jaded Blossom to cut the happy birthday word card stock.  The scallop oval is also from Jaded Blossom, the Scallop Oval Dies set.

The bears are from My Scrap Chick, they are part of the Birthday Bears cut set.  I inked around the edges of the bears with tea dye Distress Ink and around the icing of the cupcakes with tumbled glass Distress Ink (blue) and Victorian velvet Distress Ink (pink).  I also added a little white gel pen doodling.

The icing trim and on the hand are both adhered with foam tape.  I also adhered the whole bear with foam tape for dimension.

I used Peachy Keen faces on both bears.  They are both from the Teddy Bear Assortment.  The sentiment is also from Jaded Blossom.  It is part of the Hey Cupcake stamp set.

I made this for the following challenges:
City Crafter Challenge Blog: use the word "you"
My Sheri Crafts: teddy bear
Crafty Creations: word/letters on background

Spider Treat Bag and Card

I made a Halloween treat container and coordinating card.  This was made with dies and stamps from Jaded Blossom and some face stamps from Peachy Keen.

The treat box was made using the Scallop Caddy Die.  I cut it out of black diamond card stock from The Bewitched Stack by DCWV.  The layer is from a purple spider card stock from the same stack.  I put it together, then punched two holes at the so that I could string baker's twine through for closure.

The tag was made using a die from the Mini Tag Dies 2 set.  I stamped the spider web from the Halloween Paint Splatters stamp set in London fog ink by Tsukineko.  I then used the Halloween Treats stamp set for the sentiment.

The spider is from Spidey Senses.  I stamped it on dark grey card stock and used my Brother Scan n Cut 2 to cut it out.  I just had to fussy cut the parts between the legs.  I also fussy cut the head, which I then adhered with foam tape for dimension.  I also adhered the spider to box using foam tape on the center of the body while gluing the legs down.  I used a piece of baker's twine behind it for its string.  The face is made of two Peachy Keen stamps.  The eyes are from The Uglies Face Assortment, which I cut out from white card stock.  The mouth is from the Monster Mash Face Assortment.  I added a little black chalk on its cheeks.

The bag was finished off with some sequins.

The coordinating card was made from black card stock.  I used the Card Mat Dies to cut a purple layer.  The white layer was also cut with the Card Mat Dies, but I also used the Border Dies to create a zig zag top.  I stamped the same spider web from Halloween Paint Splatters in the same ink on the white border.  I then used the new Happy Hello and Happy Hello Add On to create my sentiment.  I wrapped the mat with baker's twine and tied it in a bow, using more to create the string from which my spider is hanging.

The spider is the same one from Spidey Senses that I used on my box.  I cut it the same way and adhered it the same way.  The face is from the same Peachy Keen stamp sets, I just used a different set eyes and mouth.  I finished off the card with some sequins.

Bright Suns

Here are a couple of fun birthday cards for you today.

The cards are 5 1/2"x4 1/4" and made of brown card stock.  I used patterned card stock from the Modern Meadow Stack by DCWV and dies from Jaded Blossom.  I cut all the patterned pieces with the Card Mat Dies.  I then cut the blue patterned pieces with one of the Border Dies.

The suns and clouds are from the Spring Dies 2 set.  I used face stamps from Peachy Keen, the Shady Emojis Face Assortment.  I inked around the edges of the suns with wild honey Distress Ink and around the edges of the clouds with antique linen Distress Ink.  Both the center of the sun and the smallest cloud are popped up with foam tape for dimension.

The sentiment is from the Watt's Up stamp set.
