Christmas Gift Tags

I decided to just make one post of the rest of the tags I created for Christmas gifts.

This tag was made using Jaded Blossom products.

The tag is made from the Luggage Tag Dies set.  The lights, both small (which are heat embossed) and the larger ones are from Watts Up stamp set, as is the sentiments.  The banner on which the sentiment is stamped (and heat embossed) is from My Craft Spot.  I used the Erkle and Merkle Face Assortment from Peachy Keen Stamps for the face.

This tag was made using cut files from the Silhouette Store.

The tag is one of the four in a set called "tags" by Michelle Renee (#43062).  The cardinal is also by Michelle Renee and called "Christmas cardinal" (#51610).  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom, the Season's Tweetings set.  The "to" and "from" are from a stamp set by My Craft Spot.

I used an svg from KaDoodle Bug Designs and a tag shape from Cricut for this tag.

The tag is from the "ZooBalloo" cartridge and the horse is a file called Cutie KaToodles - Horse.  The holly is also from the Cricut, the "Winter Wonderland" cartridge.  The present is from the "Tis the Season" cartridge by Creative Memories.  All the stamps are from My Craft Spot.

Winter Wine Wrapping

Today's project is a fun way to wrap a bottle of wine!

The wine box is from the Silhouette Store.  The cut file is called "Wine Bottle Gift Box" and is by Megan Hardy Designs (#50699).  I did not change the size, just cut it as is and it fits most standard wine bottles.  It cuts slots for ribbon and I ran some white ribbon through them to seal off the package.

I used "Winter Wonderland" for the tree and "When I Was a Kid" for the scalloped label on which I placed it.  The tree was cut at 5" and the label is 5 3/4"x3 1/4."  I turned off the aspect ratio to get that size for the label.  I ran the silver layer of the label through the Cuttlebug with the Diamond Tree embossing folder.  I added some glittery white brads to the corners of the label and adhered it to the box with foam tape.

The label is part of the box cut.  I added a snowflake I cut with the "Holly and Ivy" cartridge.  It was cut at 2 3/4" and adhered to the tag with foam tape.  I also added a silver gem brad.  The sentiment and "to," "from" are from stamps by My Craft Spot.  They both come from the White Christmas set.

To finish off the box I made a paper bow for it with the "3D Bows" digital cartridge.  It was cut at 8."

I made this for the following challenges:
BBTB2: Christmas tree
Fantabulous Cricut: Christmas project without red or green
My Sheri Crafts: Christmas tree
The Friday Mashup: weather inspired project with metal embellishment
Stuck on U Sketches: into the woods

25 Days of Christmas - Gift Bag and Tag

Today's Christmas project is a coordinating gift bag and tag set.

The gift bag is a plain white bag I got at JoAnn Fabric and Crafts a few years ago.  I cut a piece of glittery green card stock at 7"x6," then some red card stock at 6 1/2"x5 1/2," and finally some white card stock at 6 1/4"x5 1/4."  I embossed the white card stock with one of the Wedding Suite embossing folders from ProvoCraft.

The ornament is from the "Winter Wonderland" cartridge and can be found on page 34.  I cut it at 3 1/2."  I covered the white part of the ornament with carrara marble glitter, by Martha Stewart.  I adhered it to the bag using foam tape for a little dimension.

The tag is from "Winter Woodland."  It is on page 74, the tag feature, and is cut at 2 1/2."  The holly image on the tag is from "Winter Wonderland."  It is on pages 39-40 of the handbook and was cut at 2."  The white ribbon is covered in more of the carrara marble glitter.  The sentiment on the front of the tag is from My Craft Spot, the "Mistletoe" set.  The sentiment on the back of the tag is from Scrappy Moms Stamps, the "Winter Wishes" set and the to and from are also Scrappy Moms Stamps, the "Everyday Greetings" set.  I tied the tag on with some baker's twine, in maraschino and peapod, by The Twinery.

I made this for the following challenges:
BBTB2: gift tag
Fantabulous Cricut: anything but a card, holiday theme
Scrappy Moms Stamps: Christmas project
My Craft Spot: wrap it up
Exploring Cricut: Christmas project
Die Cuttin' Divas: holiday related project

25 Days of Christmas - Jingle Bells

I think a lot of what I create for my 25 Days of Christmas challenge will be cards, pretty much because they are usually quick and easy.  Here is the first of many, I am willing to bet.

The card is 5 1/2"x4 1/4."  I used gold card stock as the card base.  I cut some white card stock at 5 3/8"x4 1/8" and covered it with coarse white glitter.  The sheet music card stock is from The Paper Studio's Ornamental Christmas stack.  I cut it at 5 1/8"x3 7/8."  The image is cut from the "Winter Wonderland" Cricut cartridge.  It can be found on page 91 of the handbook.  I cut it at 2 3/4."  I covered the white ribbon with more coarse white glitter and used glossy accents on the bells.  I adhered the whole image with foam tape for dimension.  I then finished off the front with some gold gems.

I also finished the inside of this card.  I cut a piece of ivory card stock at 5 3/8"x4 1/8," then some gold card stock at 5 1/4"x4" and finally, some sheet music card stock at 5 1/8"x3 7/8."  I then cut another piece of gold card stock at 4 1/4"x2 3/4" and more ivory card stock at 4 1/8"x2 3/8."  The bell is also from the "Winter Wonderland" cartridge and is on page 74.  It is just the bell layer of this image.  I adhered it down and covered it with glossy accents.

I made this card for the following challenges:
365 Cards: "Day 336" - use lots of gold on your card
Fantabulous Cricut: holiday project without red or green
My Craft Spot: sparkle or shine
Exploring Cricut: Christmas card
52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown: pick a previous theme (Christmas carol/hymn - "Jingle Bells")
