Halloween for the Doggos

Ever wonder where you'd end up if you took your dog for a walk and never once pulled back on the leash? ~Robert Brault, rbrault.blogspot.com

Hi All,

The doggie day care I take my pups to on occasion is always running events to gather food and funds for local animal rescues and veteran animal services and I like to help when I can so I have been making cards for them sell and today I’m sharing 12 dog themed Halloween cards I made for them using the January2020 Sheetload of Cards from Call me Crafty Al as a starting point.

I did a bit paper piecing & fussy cutting on quite a few of the cards.

Hot Diggity Dog!

We long for an affection altogether ignorant of our faults. Heaven has accorded this to us in the uncritical canine attachment. ~George Eliot

Sharing another card made with the Stampin Up! Design paper pack “Playful Pets”. These cards are going into my doggo donation pile for Gilbert Dogs 24/7 for them to sell during an upcoming fundraiser.

This card involves a small bit of paper piecing. I stamped the dog image on gray cardstock then fussy cut out. I also stamped the image on white paper and fussy cut the party hat and eye.
I used a tiny pom pom which I rolled around in red ink for the top of the party hat.

Phoenix Paper Crafters Paper Pack Challenge: You Arff the Best!

I had to have company — I was made for it, I think — so I made friends with the animals. They are just charming, and they have the kindest disposition and the politest ways; they never look sour, they never let you feel that you are intruding, they smile at you and wag their tail, if they've got one, and they are always ready for a romp or an excursion or anything you want to propose. ~Mark Twain

This is an 8 x 8 page that I will actually layer onto a piece of 12 x 12 cardstock. However, I found I have no white or red 12 x 12 cardstock so it will be a trip to the craft store this week.

Also, I haven’t added the picture of my doggo yet and written out the info on the upper right-hand corner because I’m still deciding what picture I want to print and put in there!

I talk to him when I'm lonesome like; and I'm sure he understands.
