Baggage Allowance Exceeded (FDA Annabel Haines)

Most beds sleep up to six cats. Ten cats without the owner. ~Stephen Baker

Good morning!
Today I am excited to share with you a card I made using an image called "Baggage Allowance Exceeded" from our upcoming Featured Digi Artist Annabel Haines of Knitty Kitty Digis

Isn't this the cutest image? I can't help but grin every time I look at it and am thinking my next attempt will be paper piecing. Those kitty'swould be adorable in different prints!

For my card, I decided to color my kitty’s to look like Siamese Cats (well as best I could)

More information on this card and the image can be found in the January-February 2019 issue of Through the Craft room Door scheduled for released on January 7th

It's your birthday to-day, so why are we waiting?

Without further delay, Let's start celebrating.
~Norman Wesley Brooks, 1967

Good morning!
This worked out well for me. The upcoming challenge for the next edition of TTCRD magazine is masculine cards.

Today is the birthday of a fellow co-worker so I am sharing the card I made for him. I cannot recall where I first saw this layout but it is another one of my favorites. Clean and simple, it works well for any event and is a great way to use up scraps of DP!

Card size is 4.25 x 5.50

Kolton's Graduating?!

You are educated. Your certification is in your degree. You may think of it as the ticket to the good life. Let me ask you to think of an alternative. Think of it as your ticket to change the world.
Tom Brokaw

Good morning everyone.
I hope your day is going great. Today we are heading off to celebrate the High School Graduation of our Nephew.

Feeling kinda old today as I shake my head trying to figure out where the days have gone that I missed his growing from a little tow headed darling to a big strapping young man.

Here is the card I made for him.
Details can be found in Through the Craft Room Door Magazine scheduled for release on May 4th.

Dakota's 25th Birthday

The years teach much which the days never knew.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Good morning
Today I'd like to say Happy Birthday to my son Dakota.
Growing up with Aspergers has presented him with challenges that, at times, have seemed difficult to overcome but he has matured into an amazing young man with a good heart and a quirky sense of humor.

I actually made this card back in May when I was putting together a Faux Stained Glass Technique tutorial for the on-line magazine Through the Craft Room Door. At some point I'll eventually put here on my blog.

When Dakota saw the card, he asked me for it.
I told him it was intended someone else, which is was.
He was so disappointed, that I made another card for the other person and set this one aside for him. Can't wait to see his face when he opens his card!

Size 5 x 7

SUPPLIES
Card stock and Ink from Stampin Up!

New Adventure Ahead!

The horizon, to remind you of your courage, sends its gentle waves of confidence to kiss your feet.

~Dodinsky, www.dodinsky.com

Queue the music and confetti!

I have a BIG announcement to make!

I am the proud new owner/editor in training of
Through the Craft Room Door Challenge Blog
and
On-Line Magazine.

Colleen Holmes has decided it is time for her to retire and spend her energies on other things, like her card making ventures and her Outlawz Challenge Blog.
So she has passed her torch onto me.
Currently I am learning the ropes with the plan to take on everything November 1st.

She has done an such amazing job with the website and magazine and I know I have some impressive footsteps to follow but I will do my best to keep the challenges interesting and the magazine something our subscribers look forward to every two months.

Please come check us out!

and

please - please check out The Outlawz Challenge Blog!
Colleen has a different challenge that starts every weekday!
Something for everyone!

Happy Days!
