The Graduate

Leirs saya, KAYA!



Journaling:
After 5 years of blood sweat and tears and proud to finally call myself a graduate.

Materials Used:
MM Paper; Prima Sticker, Basic Grey Bare Chipboard,Glimmer Mist Paint and Stamp.

Techniques:
I used a butterfly template as my non-stamping item and then I placed a star over it and I colored the word G using a stamp and stamped the words Journey and Adventure under the journaling.


About ME:
My name is Leirs, married to Philbert mommy to Joshwa and Adee and my only resolution is to scrap our family photos. I know I've been slacking when it comes to scrapping but not when it comes to shopping.

My Everything

This was a difficult challenge to do because I don't sew. But since my goal is to do a challenge

every month. What the heck, right??? One of my favorite songs is this song by 98 Degrees -

My Everything - and I decided to use the chorus for the LO.

Journaling:

A Letter for Adee

Leirs says, KAYA!

Philbert wrote a letter for Adee. I've been itching to put that in a scrapbook because I know that my husband is not that letter writing kind. I tried to include that in this Layout and I sealed it with prima crystals making and aptly using the letter A for Adrianne.

Adee's Guest Book

I know that this is not much but I decided to use the scrap photos that I have for Adee's Guest Book.

Materials Used:
Actually I just used the kit that was provided during the scrapbook day at Umagang Kay Ganda. Then I added American Craft Thickers and Basic GreyChipboard Stickers.

The Way We Were

I was thinking of what photo to use for this challenge and I saw this photo
of the way we were. No matter how far we've come and what has happened.
One thing is important we will be always be a FAMILY.

This layout was something that was waiting to be finished. I wanted to finish it and yet I couldn't think of the perfect journaling. It's a bit weird though that this doesn't have any photos in it.

In the blink of an eye you stole my heartand changed my life forever.Becoming your mother has made me complete.I no longer worry about my needs. My only concern is your happiness. I hope that one dayyou have a child of your own so you will know this incredible joy. You are worth every pain, pricks and discomfort.

Mirror Bride

Inspired by my sister's wedding pictorial pose I decided to make my own version.


Materials Used:
Craft Express Paper
Stamps (sorry can't remember the name)

Techniques Used:
I just stamped the the title and stamped the words upside
down to simulate the mirror image effect.

I would describe my style that is leaning towards simple scrapbooking simply because I have so much to do and have little time to make my LO's complicated.
