I Will Never Go

Me-anne says, KAYA!

Oh my, I have been far and cannot be reached lately. I can't even get my mojo to scrap back. A lot of things happened and I'm trying to keep up with a lot of these changes. First my new career and workplace environment and then my entirely new self. Maybe this is a good start to touch my stuff again and bring myself to this best stress-reliever called scrapbooking.

I made this simple layout for my Mother-in-Law. Incidentally, yesterday was my Father-in-Law's Death Anniversary and I couldn't think of a best gift for her but this one. Hope she'll find this one best though I really don't know their theme song, but the song did well for both of them...hoping again it will.

So here's my take on this challenge. I'll Never Go by Erik Santos.

Journaling:
You always ask me
Those words i say
And telling me what it means to me

Every single day
You always act this way
For how many times i told you
I love you for this is all i know

Come to me and hold me
And you will see
The love i give
For you still hold the key

Every single day
You always act this way
For how many times i told you
I love you for this is all i know

[Chorus:]
I'll never go far away from you
Even the sky will tell you
That i need you so
For this is all i know
I'll never go far away from you

Come to me and hold me
And you will see
The love i give
For you still hold the key

Every single day
You always act this way
For how many times i told you
I love you for this is all i know

[Chorus:]
I'll never go far away from you
Even the sky will tell you
That i need you so
For this is all i know
I'll never go far away from you

Come to me and hold me
And you will see
The love I gaved for you still hold the key

Every single day you always at this way
For how many times I told you
I lOVE YOU for this is all I know

[Chorus:] [2X]
I'll never go far away from you
Even the sky will tell you
That i need you so
For this is all i know
I'll never go far away from you

**INSTRUMENTAL**

Initially I was kinda apprehensive about altering this clock project, di ko yata kaya yan ----he he he. Well KAYA ko pala, thanks for Cookie for the heads up again.

This is actually a gift to a very special friend of mine last August 6 on the occasion of her birthday. Incidentally the photo of the project was done so quickly that I need to hand her the gift already...so I was not able to get a good view of the picture of them. But I did feel so happy that I was able to say KAYA!

Ice Cream

Me-anne says, KAYA!

Here's my take on this Kaya Challenge, I was actually inspired to do a layout base from what I've learned from Valerie and Janna's Got Sketch Class.

Journaling Reads:
Mj is a picky eater and making her eat one must have a good convincing power and expert in persuasion with all the strategy on hand! Hence, even convincing her to eat an ice cream is an ordeal, but when she tasted the sugar coated cone last April 13, 2008, when we attended Children's Party sponsored by our community- she found out that ice cream taste superb and for her its the best!

To MJ aged 4! To be read on your Graduation Day in College

Me-anne says, KAYA!

I love writing post-dated letters if I may call it, to be read only after few years. I have one of those, when I still carried my eldest inside my tummy, she was barely 3 months old inside, up until I brought her out of this world. Every time I check on my journal it would always bring me tears. Now I don't want to miss this chance for Kaya Challenge, I already missed one last time due to not following instructions I did not upload it (kasi pinoy actor ginawa ko hehehe).

Anyway, this one I enjoyed the most of all Kaya Challenges I happened to participate in, to the extent na-over do it ata, but its okay because I have a finished layout which I'm pretty sure my daughter would be touched reading once she opens it on her graduation day!

So here's my take:

(letter envelope)

(additional photos)

Hidden Letter:
Dear MJ,

Congratulations for finally making it through college and by getting a degree. More than anything else, you made us so happy and proud because you were able to help us realized our dreams. For this is our only tangible things we can offer you - an investment of a lifetime.

Now we can say, it is finished and now you can decide and have a life of your own.

This is actually what we are telling you, just be good in your studies, you can make friends but make sure you take your priorities in tact. For everything else follows once you were able to reached this point.

Now you can have the luxury of time to do other things which we've asked you to set aside in the meantime and consider studying your foremost priority in life.

Today you made us proud even more because you did not fail us. You know we only wanted the best for you and for your siblings and we thank God over and over again for giving you to us a treasure to hold and nourish.

You know that I love doing a memento of your beautiful pictures as I were able to capture your very first graduation day in your Nursery class back in 2008.

Here attached pictures of you graduating Top 2 of your class, with Best in Math, Science, Computer, Pilipino and Most Thoughtful as your awards. This made us more assured that you'll definitely do good in your studies only if you continue to take it seriously.

Here also you see some of your classmates who were one with you during that memorable culminating activity.

And Hannah your younger sister- who was only 2 years old that time - very clueless about what's going on around.

It was really a very meaningful, heartwarming, exciting and joyous day indeed specially for me who happened to assist and accompany you on that day.

Papa wasn't able to make it because he has to work since, he was barely new to the company that time, but he did call me to update him what were you doing and truly he was more happier that I am.

Now we are thankful that you've come this point and we are proud of you.

We remain to support you and we will always be at your side and walk with you in every step of the way, specially now that you will be facing a new chapter of your life facing the real battles and challenges of this world.

We love you MJ and we will always be...Though this is not the end...this is only the beginning of a life full of promises and dreams.

Congratulations!
MAMA & PAPA

Like A Flower

Me-Anne says, KAYA!

Actually, I already started an LO using my youngest daughter's picture (Hannah), but my eldest MJ asked me, siya naman daw, because recently, most of my challenge LOs were Hannah's pictures. She chose pictures of her and she has chosen plenty. I am actually having a hard time figuring out what to do with those pictures. I wanted to highlight every picture because for me she is just so lovely and gorgeous...

After 2 days of thinking I got this idea and here and it is:

Journaling:
There is so much about you that we all like, each day you make us feel happy and proud
and we admire to see you bloom...like a flower!

My Wish Came True

Mary Anne says, KAYA!

I'm pleased to share my layout. Thanks for coming out with this challenge.

Journaling:
It sure is every girls' dream to be wedded or to be married someday. I even say a prayer or two for this alone. I've been in a different relationship and each of which experience I dreamt that it would last down the aisle.

I almost gave up to that dream 'coz all I would have were pains and no less than heartaches.

Until I fervently pray for it and it came upon a decision to take each steps at a time, and seemly dont just jump to any man that would show me pa-cuteness.

Loo and behold, I didn't realize that my long time friend, a fellow leader, a confidante would be my man of my dreams.

I used to joke on him and would matched him with one of my bestfriends...but it didnt work out coz he actually likes me even more than her...than our love story began and MY WISH CAME TRUE!

Materials Used:
Patterned paper - (1) BG Mellow Seasoned (Base), (2) BG Mellow EBB (1st layer after the base), (3) BG Recess Elementary (2nd layer after the base), (4) BG Infuse Stew (Photo Mat), (5) BG Infuse Saturate ( the scallop with circle), (6) BG Infuse Instill (after the scallop), Flower cut from BG Mellow Flavourful, Sequin Flowers
Others - Ribbons, FP Rub-ons, Hinges, MM Mini Brads, IP-Coasters Hearts Fire, Buckle Ribbon, BG Infuse Ribbons, Fillstar Heart, HCI Clear sticker quotes.

Techniques:
Layering, paper cutting, stamping

About ME:
I'm a working Mom by day, a servant of God after office, a mother to two lovely daughters after that, and a wife to my ever understanding husband. I started scrapbooking 2 years ago, but on ocassional basis only during birthdays and anniversaries coz I would always give handcrafted gifts like scrapbooks to my loveones. Later I meet an e-grouper and my enthusiasm become now a passion. I find scrapbooking as a therapy that it helps me forget any issues in the office and make me feel happy after coming out with something at my level of experience okay. I would love entering challenges and hear comments regarding my creations good or bad coz this will help me better of next time. Kaya, you will see the other side of me here. TFL.
