At last another LO for KAYA! The requirements were pretty simple so it would be a shame if I don't join.



Journaling:
"June 8, 2009- I usually travel once or twice a year for business reasons but this time it was all fun. We were going to Disneyland! You, me, Lolo, Lola, Tito Kim, Anya and Lance. Sa airport pa lang memorable na. We almost didn't make it. You were oblivious to the whole thing. It will be a long time till we do this again but there are lessons learned. Incidents or no incidents, I'm glad you were with me."

About ME:
I'm Mel, 32, infanticipating to my second child and proud mom to my first born Ian who is mostly my scrapbook subject. The photos were taken during our trip to Hongkong Disneyland last June at the height of AH1N1 flu scare. All I can say is flu be damned. We had lots of fun and lots of photos too

Techniques Used/Process:
Stitching borders of photo and pp, dry embossing using Cuttlebug embossing folders on the die-cuts, adding dimension on the title by using Diamond glaze

This is the most intricate cutting edge paper I've seen. I copied the scheme to my card. There wasn't much scrap left. I rarely make one photo LO so this is quite a treat.

Yellow Bicycle web paper, YB ribbon, button, Prima flowers, parchment paper, halloween theme pp, blings, moveable eyes, Inksentials white pen, felt flourish, Heidi Grace Halloween stickers, foam letters font: CB Red tag, Sizzix Fun serif, & Lollipop.

Techniques used:
Not much except trace ghost and cat templates.

Every time our wall clock runs out of batteries I always wanted to replace it. But now that I altered it, I don't mind if it is late or has stopped. But of course it would be great to get it working again. It was more of a challenge putting the clock back to working condition than putting the layout together. My son is proud of it. So am I.

This is my first time to join Kaya. Kinaya ko talaga sya. Daniel Radcliffe is my star of choice because judging from my collection of paper clippings about Harry Potter, I have collected half of a clear book regarding all their press releases and Junior Inquirer magazine features. He makes me feel like a teenybopper crushing on a Hollywood star.



Journaling:
"Daniel Radcliffe, the boy who grew up before my eyes. I first watched Daniel as Harry Potter before I read the book, curious about all the hype on this book turned movie. After one movie, it was hard not to read all the books without imagining Daniel as Harry Potter. His portrayal of the famous character "the boy who lived" brought me back to my love of books. I feel like a gushing thirteen year old. :)"

Materials Used:
Photos from the net, Elsie love notes pp, scenic route pp, scenic route star chipboards embellished with Whispers snow tinsel embossing powder, gold glitters, glitter glue red and clear, silver embossed. Foam tape, monograms, round bling brads. Autumn leaves flourish stamps, inks.

Techniques Used:
Inking the edges, stamping, embossing, layering, open flap journalling.
