Zabeth Says Kaya!

Yupee! It's final week for the Kaya challenge. Thanks Marj for the challenge's it's really Kaya-Kaya!

I seldom done 2page layout and I think this is my 3rd time to do it. The challenge for this week is much easier for I have lots of photos in our visit to zoo.

Here is the layout:

Zabeth Says Kaya!

I run out of photos and I try to used the sepia photo which is for trash. But, I had second thought of it to try using it for the said challenge. So, I hurry in doing this layout to meet the deadline and to the bad timing the weather is also cloudy today so my shots for the layout is not that good.



Journaling:
The ephemera flyers-Only 15 mins.drive from Philcoa. How to get there-From Quezon City Memorial Circle go northeast via Commonwealth Ave., past Ever Commonwealth Center, turn right before Sandiganbayan to Batasan Road, then turn right again to Batasan-San Mateo Road, cross the bridge over Marikina River, then turn left to Gen. Luna Ave., (Ampid). Public transport Access-By PUV (FX, Jeepney, Taxi & Bus) takes trips bound for San Mateo/ Montalban at Cubao, Batasan, Philcoa Terminals and Marikina Sports Complex.

My Visible Journaling:
A fun-filled activities here at Ciudad Christina Resort inside Carrieland Country homes II in Ampid, San Mateo, Rizal. The wave pool (0-6 ft.) effects was the exciting part. We enjoyed the serendipity. The nature from sun-up to sun-down.
Materials Used:
I used the Ephemera flyers with sketch map, sea shells beads, DCWV papers, old papers, Walnut ink Eucalyptus, ABS beach chipboard, distress ink pine-needle, carl swirl punch, stabilo black pen.

Technique used:
Using distress inks, paper tearing ,crumpling.

I made two layouts for the challenge but I think this layout is much prettier than the other one. Anyway thank you Marj for the 2nd challenge for I was able to use all of my remaining stash.

Journaling:
I like bringing smiles to peoples' faces-Jai Rodriguez.
I always loved to smile and smile in my post. I smiles without any reasons. I know it help me to looked pretty and young. Most smiles are started by another smile so keep on smiling too.

Materials Used:
Rekindled Moments Flower, Prima Flower, Yellow Violet green brads, Bay book stencil alphas, DCWV papers, Visual Creation papers, Foam Smiley, Stabilo black pen, Red Ink. Sailor cream pen.

Technique Used:
Cutting, layering and doodle.

Zabeth Says, Kaya!

My daughter saw the beautiful layout ribbons for the Kaya and she keep on insisting me to make a ribbon for her. So, as I was making her a ribbon I decided to make it a layout too. Thank you Marjorie for the challenge for I was able to make used of my stuff for the traditional layout at the same time enjoying spending the time doing it with my daughter.

I have done minis album before, but all are in traditional. Since, I will be quiting in traditional, this will be my first time to make a minis album in digital. I also, added a little of traditional to bind it all together.

Techniques:
I digital all the 6x6 album using Adobe Photoshop. I add the used yarn to bind it all together and adding some rub-ons, sequence to finish the designs.

A note to my girl read me when you turned 12

For almost a week of thinking got no idea what my entry will be for this challenge. I am not planning to submit an entry for I have several reason first, no idea what picture to put on , second, been so busy lately, third my English are not better than the others. But, since Kaya is been part of my life and Kaya is always my monthly challenge I have to be productive.

So, here is my layout:






Hidden Journaling:
Dear Grace,
I loved to share to you my miracle experience having you in my tummy for 9 months.
For nine months, that tiny miracle do wonders insides a mother womb. The miracle grows in 9 months. Here's the story, as you know Mommy and Daddy married for 3 ½ years and mommy really get hard to conceive, and daddy needs a lot of supplement booster to be healthy and good shape. Mommy also goes to laparoscopy to view her uterus and the operation was successful. Before you come I prayed a lot to God and asking for a child. God answered my prayer for he listens to prayer.

I also got the vision that I will bear a child with this story. "A child holding my pants ans saying don't cry anymore." After that vision I don't expect that I was already pregnant for 2 weeks and that is March 20,2004.

Mommy didn't get hard time during my pregnancy and delivery of child for all the time I keep praying for God's help and God is gracious.

Technique/Materials Used: I used the pregnancy article and the ultrasound film for the layout. I also add some hidden journaling for the letter that have to be read when she turned 12, inking.

Make a wish,wish "3" Wishes

I know everybody has his own wish and wishing for a good one, but this is my wish. Wish big, Dream big and Believe. As it says,do your best and God will do the rest. My wish and dream are impossible to attain, but I still believed and that's what I call FAITH.

Actually,my husband help me in making the journals. I think he just want to make me laugh to start the new year stress free. So, I was laughing and smiling all the way while finishing this layout.

I was eating my Skyflakes crackers and thinking about the Kaya 7 Sweet Inspiration challenge. I asked myself if I could make it since the deadline is approaching. This is very hard, I thought, as I looked to find any stuff that I can scraplift. Then the colors of the Skyflakes packaging came to mind. It gave me the inspiration for I like those red stripes and blue color combination.

Yupee! I have my scraplifted idea and I borrowed the Skyflakes can from my mother-in-law and I worked on my LO.

Materials Used:
ABS paper, Making Memories Harvest paint, Hambly Vintage Motif black rub-ons, Alphabet overlay traditional black, Alphabitties American Navy, MMBI rub-ons, Sailor marker pen-cream, Festive gel pen.

Technique Used/Tools Used:
Placed my cutting mat and prepared my Provo-craft paper trimmer to cut papers, painted using MM colors, cut the pictures, put some rub-ons, and stickers as designs and journaling.
