so GROWN up

Marissa says, KAYA!

I rushed this layout to beat the time and I hope I'll make it. This is what I get for procrastinating...not knowing whether to make a traditional or digital layout.  Well, here I combined 2 products - traditional prouducts turned into digital by scanning them.

This is a picture of DD with her cousin who had her confirmation early this year.  I am just so amazed how an outfit could make her look so mature beyond her age.  She usually the jeans and sneakers kind of girl but when this important event for her cousin took place she a godmother for the first time.

Journaling:

You look so mature part of me was so proud of you and part of me felt sad that you grew up so fast!

Materials:

Background paper for layout, for the circle lace, for the strips used on the left side of the layout is from DCWV Luxury pack; circle lace template [Craftfairy]; Fonts: Pristina, Tunga, Ravie;  lace bow on oval tag; lace along the side and bottom of pictures; all other embellishments from Scrapbook Flair's Nayan - Dream of Spring Collection [thank you SF/Nayan, for the freebies!]

Technique used:

I usually scan patterned papers that I buy before I cut them up to pieces.  As I am into digital scrapbooking also, I want to use some of these papers in my digital layouts.  I used lots of layering of different elements; I used scans of lace in my stash.  Design scraplifted from Sarah de Guzman [thanks for the inspiration!]

About me:

I married the boy next door; we have a son and a daughter; love to create - jewelry, dolls, cards, scrapbook...
I collect Barbies and other dolls.

R & R

Marissa says, KAYA!

I haven't been active lately due to so many personal commitments, but when I saw that digital LOs are accepted for this challenge, I whipped up a quick one and uploaded right away before procrastination sets in. These pictures were taken last week in Chicago.

Journaling:

Very simple...
oh... the places we went and the things we saw...
Materials:

R&R Alpha by Shabby Princess' Promise Alpha, fonts used: Matisse ITC and Arial; flower border and lace templates by CraftFairy1; program used: CS3 ext, all the rest are from TipToe Studio.

About Me:

Barbie collector, traditional and digital scrapbooker.
My latest project: crocheting flowers and lace to use in my scrapbook layouts and handmade cards. My next project: learn to tat.

I Love You...[It's Easy for Me to Say]

Marissa says, Kaya!

I chose 2 songs to stitch together in this LO. I love Kool and the Gang’s Cherish, especially the part: Let’s cherish every moment we have been given, the time is passing by… This just says it all – and I want us to grab each moment, enjoy it, love it, live it, and never take it for granted.

The other song is Clint Black/Hayden Nicholas’ It’s Easy for Me to Say. I love the lyrics. Should DH, DS, and DD chance to see this blog, may this let them know that I love them more every day. I say I love you before going to bed, after every phone conversation, any time for no reason at all. Often it seems the phrase has lost its impact because it has become something we’re all used to. Parang bukang-bibig na lang. I want to remind them through this layout that even if I don’t get to say “I love you” often enough, the littlest gestures, a smile, a laugh, a subtle touch [as they walk by me in the hall, in the kitchen or anywhere else], a hug, a kiss, a back rub, a foot massage, an expression of concern or interest on how their day went by, saying “ingat” whenever they have to go somewhere, and nagging them make their doctor appointments, are a few of the million ways I say “I love you”. It’s so simple…and it’s so easy for me to say.

Journaling:

Cherish

Let’s cherish every moment we have been given, the time is passing by…
The world is always changing nothing stays the same, but love will stand the test of time… cherish the love we have, cherish the life we live, cherish…

Easy for me to say

Some won't find the words; more won't find a way. Never too often heard you know it's easy for me to say. The thing you need to hear, way more than every day, can never be too clear you know it's easy for me to say, I love you. Quiet, and loud, alone, [or] in a crowd, I love you. In a thousand little ways I'm learning to say and I learn something new every day. I love you, it's easy for me to say.It always sounds the same music to my ears, leaves nothing to explain, you know it's easy for me to hear the phrase that we all know, nothing it can't outweigh. Take it wherever we go, you know it's easy for me to say, I love you…no poet ever found a better way. You know it's easy for me to say, I love you. I'll try to say it more every day. You know it's easy for me to say.

Supplies:

Flowers by Prima; sugar coated adhesive heart chipboard by Doodlebug; felt heart brad by Doodlebug Boutique Asst; strand of pink pearls; journaling tags by Making Memories; glitter [lace] pink hearts by We R Memory Keepers; Colorbox fluid chalk orchid pastel around hearts and lime pastel on white Thickers alpha; Doodlebug Jewel Accent on the flower; Hero Arts small blings on the swirl, hearts, butterfly charm, and on the flower; canary yellow diecut borders by Doodlebug; puncher/embosser by Martha Stewart; swirl cut from K&Co’s Sparkly Sweet pack; neon green and lavender thread; Zots clear adhesive dots for 3D effect; pink, black, yellow and green (on the yellow border) acid-free pens.

Technique:

Cutting, inking, punching and sewing/stitching, which looks complicated, but not really.

About Me:

The challenger was also challenged!
It is my first time to use a lot of stitching, so I really challenged myself, too! The stitching looks complicated, but it's not really, once I tried it. Find out how I did my LO here.

I'll Always Remember...

Marissa says, KAYA!

My parents instilled in me [and my siblings] the importance of prayers. I remember family prayers every 6:00 in the evening. It is a solemn time, a peaceful time. It made me feel good about everything afterwards.

I treasure this box of prayers that my parents gave me years ago. For me, these are prayers not for me to recite, but prayers my parents ask of God for me, all placed in this little box. It is my parents' wishes, hopes, and desires, for everything best for me. It is their voices I hear telling me of the goodness and greatness of the Lord.

Journaling reads:

I'll always REMEMBER my parents' teachings. I do not need a boxful of prayers to read. My nightly private conversations with the Lord comes deep within my heart.

Materials used:

Black cardstock, scraps byMy Mind's Eye, flower cut-outs from a patterned paper [sorry I forgot which one], Prima flowers, Colorbox fluid chalk used around the Prima flowers; bling from Darice, Fiskars Threading Water punch, foam dots, K&Co Blue Awning journaling tag.

Techniques:

Nothing much - just cutting and glueing, some distressing on the prima flowers with Yellow Citrus fluid chalk,

About Me:
I am a pack-rat. I am a paper addict.
I am a Lindor extra extra dark truffle chocoholic. I am an ex-Frango Mint-aholic. I am a digital scrapbooker.

Home

Marissa says, KAYA!

I am so proud of DH and DS for building this house from scratch! No blue prints, no instructions, just good old geometry, trigonometry, and mathematics. It must have taken me twice as long to plan this layout (^.^)

The house is 6' high in the center from the floor to the roof [that's upstairs!] The plan was to have just one floor, but then there is this space underneath, so DH added another floor where the kids dined. There are 2 plexi-glass walls on both sides of the front door so there'd be more light inside. The front door was taken out when someone's fingers got caught in it when the kids raced upstairs and closed the door behind them. There are 2 windows, one on each side of the house. DH added a regular stairway so the littlest ones could safely go up and down the steps.
Later on, he added a back porch so there'd be more room. There were Summer days when DD and I took our blankies and pillows and took a nap in the playhouse. Presko!

I apologize that the pictures were taken in an angle. The flash keeps reflecting on the pictures and since it is now 10:28 PM where I am, there is poor lighting in the house and I don't have time to scan and stitch four scans together. TFL.

Journaling:

You couldn't wait for it to get finished. I couldn't wait to decorate it. Papa and Kuya Lennart worked all Summer to complete it in time for your birthday in the Fall. You chose the colors and even helped paint it.

You entertained and welcomed guests with pride. You were a gracious hostess!

Then all of a sudden, just like the baby shoes and toddler clothes, you out grew it. But you loved it! This playhouse you called "HOME".

Techniques:
Nothing much, just cutting, glueing, distressing cutouts with fluid chalk.

Supplies used:
Papers and cutouts [the Paper Studio]; birthstone gem stickers blue zircon [Martha Stewart];
flowers [Prima]; heart charm [Blue Moon Beads]; fluid chalk Chestnut Roan [ColorBox]; journaling tag [Making Memories]; foam squares [Miss Elizabeth]; chipboard alpha [ChipChatter/Pressed Petals]

About Me:
I am sentimental with memories like these. I plan to make a complete scrapbook of how this playhouse was made. I took lots of pictures - from the time the posts were put up to the time when a little flower garden was built around the house.

Rose Garden

Marissa says, KAYA!

I love viewing distressed layouts but seeing that there is too much work and time involved, I decided it is not for me. This one gave me headaches!!! But I love you dearly, Marj. Despite the headaches I found this fun and satisfying. Mauulit kaya? I enjoyed it so kakayanin ko ulit.

Thanks, Marj!

This picture of DH and me was taken 2 months ago at the Chicago Botanic Gardens.

Journaling:

Supplies:

background paper, mat and cut out flowers [the Paper Studio/Della Fantasia collection]; brown patterned cardstock [DCWV/Butterflies and Blooms]; pink & dark pink bling [Rhinestone Stickers]; inks [Color Box/pigment copper and chestnut roan fluid chalk]; silk flowers [Michael's]; foam squares [Miss Elizabeth]; journaling tag [Making Memories /{Note} Worthy];

Techniques:

Cutting, crumpling, curling, distressing, and inking edges.

About Me

I like convenience in making layouts. Digital scrapbooking gives me that. I can make a lot in one sitting, not to mention that I have no storage problems and I can bring copies with me wherever I go to show off.

I love creating with my hands, thus I also make traditional layouts. Will anyone now tell me how to store these bulky pages?

Thanks for looking.

Pieces of Me

Marissa says, KAYA!

This is probably the style for me - clean lines. I love beautiful patterned papers and it hurts me so much to cut them up to pieces. So most of them end up untouched on the shelves. This picture was taken at the back seat of the Toy Truck on our trip to Toronto. Of all the pictures we took this is the one I will treasure forever.

Journaling:

Supplies:

Background paper [Basic Grey's Granola]; strips of paper [Basic Grey's 8x8 Boxer pad]; crocheted doily, flower [Prima], journaling tag [Making Memories' Note Worthy], rhinestone stickers, glass beads [Bead Gallery], hemp cord [Jewelry Design], journal tag [My Mind's Eye Laundry Line]; thicker foam dots used under the photo [United Manufacturer's Supplies]; thinner foam squares used on the title [Miss Elizabeth]; permanent orange marker [Bic]

Techniques:

I cut papers to strips, threaded beads with hemp and knotted the hemp to keep the beads in place then wrapped the cord around the picture, doily is held in place by sewing parts of it to the paper and also with the use of thin foam squares; title was handwritten on tiny squares with doodles all around to define the edges. Since I placed one end of the photo on top of the doily, I used thick foam dots [DH gave me some of his photo-framing supplies] to even out the height of the other end of the photo.

About Me:
AKA the CraftFairy... I enjoyed doing this challenge because it gave me the opportunity to use supplies from another craft I love to do - jewelry making. I think I'm going to incorporate supplies from my other crafts into scrapbooking. Are they acid- and lignin-free? I don't really care - not anymore. With the technology we have these days the photos are easily replaceable should they fade in a few years. As long as the pictures are saved in discs and the discs are safe... memories will still last forever.

Merry Christmas

Marissa says, KAYA!

Journaling:
Child of Mine: I miss your being a little girl.
I miss dressing you up in frilly dresses with satin bows and sashes.
Bur forever and always you are MY gift under the tree.

Materials Used:
Lace border punch [Martha Stewart]; papers, swirls, tag, and flower [Me & My Big Ideas Christmas specialty pack]; liquid glue [Scotch]; foam dots [Sticky Doos]; sticky bling [Claire's Boutique]; journaling tag [Blue Awning by K&Co]; Child of Mine mini tag [Sharon Ann/Deja Views]; holiday ribbon [Michael's Arts & Crafts Store]

Techniques:
Nothing much, just cutting and glueing.

About ME:
Busy making mini albums as Christmas gifts for teen girls who want one, and whose mommies don't know how to [ha-ha, as if I do]!

Anxious to find out what Marj's next challenge will be.

Drooling over the Christmas supplies Archiver's has to offer.

Waiting for 50% off coupons from Hobby Lobby so I could buy more BG packs.

Staring at my clear stamps deciding when to use them. [Alright... I think the mini albums are a good excuse to practice using those stamps and they won't know a mistake even when they see one. Shhhh.... ]

[Imagine] Halloweeny

Marissa says, KAYA!

I thought it is just perfect to make a Halloween layout and greeting card since all Hallow's Evenin' is just around the corner. This is a picture of my DD dressed in an Egyptian attire. There was a bonfire and Halloween party at one of her friends' backyard [close to an open field, thank goodness!] Thank you, Marix for this challenge! I had fun using my forgotten decorative-edge scissors.

Journaling:

There's not much of a journaling. I did not glue the entire mat [of diamond-patterned paper] so DD can later add her own journaling and hide it back there.

Materials used:

Archiver's black cardstock DCWV orange cardstock; pumpkin cut-outs from a DCWV patterned paper; cut-out leaves and diamond-patterned paper by Deja Views; Provo-Craft Halloween tag; various decorative-edge scissors; foam dots for dimension.

Techniques:
I cut out the pumpkins from patterned paper and glued them twice on a white cardstock for thickness and dimension. I curled the tips of the cut-out leaves to get the feel and look of real dried leaves; I curled portions of the edges of the mat; hand-cut the edges of the tag "Imagine".

About ME:
I started with traditional scrapbooking and ended up making digital layouts. The primary reason is the bulk of photo albums. I remember hauling boxes of them from one place to another. But my love for making things with my own hands out-weighs digital technology.

I love scrapbooking and making cards. Lately, I've been adding more dimensions to my layouts and cards, although I really wouldn't now know how to store them! Eventually everything will probably flatten out when albums will be put away for safe-keeping. But right now, while they all look crisp and cute, I'll enjoy looking, admiring, and showing them off. TFL.

Walking In Mama's Shoes

Marissa says KAYA!

Making this mini reminded me of days when I made and sold greeting cards. I had fun making these pages. I thank Pinoyscrapbookers for the ideas and inspiration; and thank you, Marian, for the challenge.
These are pictures of my daughter when she was still a toddler. I am so glad that I took pictures any time, any where because without these pictures to remind me, I've already forgotten these specific moments.

Materials Used:

Holder is a photo holder that is a part of a desk set [file holder, memo holder, desk pad...]. Scraps of DCWV Spring cardstocks; K-Ology Berry Sweet, Blooms & Butterflies, My Paper Studios, Sei flower/border cut-outs, colored wire, seed beads; Stickles, ColorBox chestnut Roan, decorative edge scissors, My Paper Studios Sticky Doos, decorative-edged scissors; Miss Elizabeth plastic foam alpha stickers [IYQ], Doodlebug border; Scotch quick-dry adhesive, cut-out dresses from Nana's Nursery (Girls) ; Fiskars edge puncher
Techniques:
I pasted cut-outs on white cardstocks and cut them again. This gave them some dimension. I shaped the pink colored wire into a flower; strung beads in a blue wire and strung cut-out dresses for the clothes line. Doodled on some of the edges of the mats/frames. Tearing and hand-sewing.
About Me:

So many memories to put into readable form. In order to catch up I do both digital and traditional scrapbooking. When I make my pages, everything gets out of the plastic containers and get mixed up in the process. I do not have time to take note of what supplies I used. That alone, takes too much time. It's different with digital supplies though. Since I get most of them for free, the least I could do is take note of the supplies they open-heartedly shared. TFL...

Transitioning

Marissa says, KAYA!

The LO below is about my daughter transitioning from high school to college life. It is difficult to let go especially if it turns my husband and me into empty nesters! Most especially when it is a daughter who has been sheltered all her life going to the big city. Come to think of it...she is beginning to start her own life. Time really flies...so fast it hit me hard!

Journaling:
[To the tune of Camp Granada]
DD: Ready, Mother?
ME: No, my Daughter
DD: I am leaving
ME: See me crying?
DD: For Chicago

ME: I can't let go

DD: Don't you worry...
ME: I can't help it!
DD: I'll be back soon, just get ready with some money in your wallet...!

Popsicle Kids

Marissa says, KAYA!
Summer from where I am is from June 21 to August 20. There are the sure signs of Summer - ivy winding its way up the pergola, flowers swaying in the cool breeze, mosquitoes, fruit flies, and bees abound, kids on bikes, shorts pants, short-sleeved shirts, and flip flops... We haven't had a chance to celebrate summer with food yet so I used old pictures of (L-R) Christina, Stephanie, & Monica in order to meet this month's deadline. There's always ice cream in the fridge, but one bought from the ice cream man is an entirely different treat!
Journaling Reads:
Summer's not complete without shirts & shorts and the Popsicle Trio.

Materials Used:
Lollipop Designs [LPD] - Beez & Bloomz & Bugz ivy, flowers, bee, alpha;
Font - freestyle script
ByGod'sDesign - Popsicle Paradise background paper, popsicles & people sticks
Program Used - Photoshop CS
Techniques Used:
Re-sizing, free forming, adding shadows; duplicating some elements, re-colored the kids skirts from pink to purple, yellow, and red; re-colored some of the flowers; the original alphabet set is made of just a black outline. I filled the interior with green to make it stand out.
About me:

I have leaned towards digital scrapbooking mainly because of ease. I make albums of traditional pages that I give away as gifts, but in all honesty, not at all as intricate and 3D as the pages made by PS members.
I am a recovering scrapbook paper collector.... (^.^). There is hope for me yet. I have learned to let go of my stash. A little bit at a time, I've given papers away to nieces in the Philippines so they, too, can experience the joy of scrapbooking.

So Like a Dandelion

Marissa says, KAYA

Thanks for the challenge... this is perhaps a side of me nobody knows about.

Journaling:
The Dandelion: very ordinary. So ordinary that people don’t pay attention to its beautiful bright yellow bloom. It is mowed down before it starts blooming; or before its seeds are scattered by the wind. It struggles to grow in corners and crevices; in the shade, trying to be inconspicuous; among the beautiful flowers trying to compete for attention.

I am like one; always struggling to prove myself. I struggle for people to consider my suggestions and ideas; for people to believe I have the knowledge and the expertise. Most of the time my ideas are squished before they bloom into extraordinary things. Sometimes I wonder - is it ME and the way I present myself? Is it my age? the color of my skin? not having a title after my name?

I grow in the shade comfortable of being an observer. I am friendly but painfully quiet and shy. I overcome these personal struggles in writing. I am smart and witty, giving and forgiving. I make people laugh...and cry.

I am like the dandelion - unnoticed...full of knowledge that is blown into the wind shared with everyone who'll take the time to listen.

To Christina, age 18...

Marissa says, KAYA!

Thank you, Lee, I was really challenged. It was fun. I still have a difficult time expressing my feelings for the whole world to see so I came up with this. Still what I feel but one that won't make me cringe sa hiya [-:

Journaling:

Dear Babycakes, I really hope there won’t be a reason for you to read this letter. The fact that you are reading it now means you are on the verge of doing something I would be so nervous to know about. Sometimes you’d rather not hear what I have to say when you have set your mind on doing something. So whether I am still around to nag you or not, this letter is here to nag you again and again, and don’t you dare put it down without reading until the end where it tells you of my feelings for you.

When I was pregnant with you I couldn’t wait to see you and hold you in my arms, 12 years after the birth of your brother. My Little Girl… from the very beginning I felt you are going to be just like me, stubborn and strong-willed. The tighter I held on to you, the stronger you wanted to pull away.

Now I know what they mean when they said having a child is like having your heart roam outside your body. That is exactly how I feel ever since you started walking on your own. A wee bit at a time you insisted on having your way. I was a nervous wreck [even though I didn’t show it] when you started to drive at age 16; I still am; especially when you stay out late until curfew hanging out with friends at the movies or at their homes. I am thankful for the phone calls to let me know where you are and how you are doing at the moment and I hope you will continue to do that even when you are already married and with kids.

I hope that despite the times I say “no way on earth” to your plans and ideas, you will never tire coming to me to let me know about them. You do not need to ask me for permission but I would love that you do, even if it were just pretend. It makes me feel important that I am always a big and important part of your life.

So please keep coming to me [and Papa] for anything that will affect your life [and my life, for that matter]. Such as dyeing your long black hair golden blonde [remember I told you your black roots will show in less than a week and it’s going to look so weird]. Thank you for listening to me. When you said you were going to have your nose pierced or to get a tattoo [remember I said think of the future when you are a part of the corporate world, would it affect how you present yourself?] Thank you for listening to me. When you announced you are not going to attend your prom this year but plan to go sky diving instead… ANAK!!!! Naman! Ay naku, Ginuo! Mamamatay ako! [It’s good you still understand Tagalog] to which you replied, “But I’m the one going to jump out of the plane, not you.” To which I replied, “Ay, naku! Mamamatay ako sa gagawin mong yan. Kanino ka ba nagmana? Wala sa lahi natin ang lumulundag out of the plane! Strapped inside the plane, yes. Pero jumping out of the plane? Hindi tayo lahing supermen, anak! Maghunos dili ka!”

But seriously speaking, any time you feel like jumping out of the norm, please come to me first. You may not like what you’ll hear but please listen to my yada-yada with an open heart and give it some thought. I have lots of things to share. Remember what they taught you in pre-school: stop, look, listen? This doesn’t just pertain to the traffic lights. It pertains to each decision you are to make in your life.

I love you dearly, Babycakes. You may see me as mean & KJ but believe me, I have faith in you truly. Your safety and happiness are my first concerns. I love you for always, forever my baby you’ll be.

Super Hero

Marissa says, KAYA!

As soon as I saw Mia's challenge, I knew right away what to do. If cuteness is in the eye of the beholder, then Tom Welling is the glittering cutie in my eyes. I couldn't wait to get my LO done as I know two other PS members who are so into Tom. So I look forward to seeing at least two more Tom Welling LOs in this challenge.

Journaling:

You're so darn cute! Those piercing baby blues are to "sigh" for.
I think you make my husband jealous. I love it when he's jealous!

Techniques:

Nothing much...just layering and re-sizing, drop shadows, some embossing and extraction.

Materials used:

Kim Christensen: journaling stamp from Prima's Be Beautiful kit; butterfly from Prima Hybrid's First Blush; Diane Rigdon: ribbon with flowers from Prima Hybrid's Firsts; Meredith Fenwick: crisscross from Prima Hybrid's First Blush; Trish Jones - glitzstar and glitzswirl from Prima Hybrid's Firsts; Doris Castle: swirly brown bag background paper from Prima's Dreamsicle kit; Monica69: glitter circles; Graphic Jam Designs: blue bling on the butterfly, blue, green, & orange FairyLights [used in the center of the Prima flowers].

About ME: I know what good-looking is, but I seldom swoon over a good-looking movie star. I didn't go through a phase where I had to buy magazines and cut out articles of good-looking people. It just happened when I was older and married. I am a Superman/Clark Kent fan. When Christopher Reeves starred as Superman, I had the biggest crush on him; and now, Tom Welling. Our "crush-affair" started the first time I saw him in the very first episode of Smallville. I have a complete collection of this series and a poster in my kalat room! I confess I still watch re-runs and smile everytime Clark and Lana would stare into each others' eyes. Only to be jerked back to reality when my husband goes, "hoy, pangiti-ngiti ka pa dyan!" I think it is the hair that swooped down their foreheads that attracted me to both guys; and the eyes, those piercing eyes! and chiseled cheekbones [sigh].

Bubble Fun With the KiDS

Marissa says, KAYA!

Thank you, Diane, for introducing Danielle Young's kit. I just couldn't make up my mind on which material to use. I made a few LOs using the kit. I had fun combining, re-coloring, and layering several materials. I asked Lee for pictures of her kids having fun. What beautiful pictures she shared. Thanks, Lee.

Journaling:
A smile starts on the lips, a grin spreads to the eyes, a chuckle comes from the belly, but a good laugh bursts forth from the soul, overflows, and bubbles all around. Just like these BUBBLES.
[Author Unk]

Materials Used:
Danielle Young's Spring Time Feeling Kit [thanks much, D.]
Tall Paul and Times New Roman fonts
Adobe Photoshop
Pictures from the Armchair Scrapper

Can't resist posting another one. What a fun kit!

About Me:
I've been digi-scrapping since 2004. I am still discovering lots of techniques and I don't think I've even scratched the surface yet. I would like to learn to make my own kits some day. But right now, lots of pictures are waiting to be made into traditional and/or digital layouts.

3 Little Wishes, Big Dreams

Marissa says, KAYA!

Who hasn't ever wished they'd win the lottery? Perhaps only the ritzy rich. I have lots of wishes. I wish I had a wishing stone that would grant my every wish [that’s kind of scary, but you know what I mean].

In this LO, I wish to win the big one! I’m sure each one of you one time or another has wished to win the lottery. I say it everyday...manalo na sana tayo sa lotto. I’m surprised to see no one has put it down for this challenge so I went ahead with this fun honest to goodness frankness. If my wishes come true, a lot will benefit from them.

Journaling:
Little Wishes, Big Dreams
1) I wish I'd win the big one. Then I'd be able to grant 3 little wishes to our families and friends; be able to help those who are in dire straits; and have some left overs for me to enjoy. AND IF I DON'T
2) I wish our friends would win the lottery, and hope they'd throw some some of their winnings my way. It would still be like winning the lottery myself! AND IF THEY DON'T
3) I wish someone who really, really needs the money would win the lottery. I would be very happy for them. Then I'd fall back in line and wait for my turn again.

About ME:
If I had to voice out my 3 wishes, they would be: (1) Peace & Respect: people getting along with all the other residents on earth and respecting nature as well. At least the animals kill for food and only for defense if provoked. (2) Good health: People minding not only their own health & cleanliness but also that of their surroundings for the sake of the entire earth to hinder global warming. (3) Caring & Sharing: People who are blessed with too much share their blessings with the less fortunate.
