The Academic Bubble.
Dr. Craig Bernthal exercises his Free Speech rights to apply Milton's Areopagetica to the dysfunctional strategy employed by California State University, Fresno to deal with its financial problems. That strategy essentially consists of destroying the Department of Science and Mathematics and merging the Arts and Humanities with Social Sciences.
So, basically, destroying the areas of study that have "meat" in favor of the areas that the pablum disciplines most under the control of whatever modernistic zeitgeist moves them.
Way to go, Fresno State!
