He brings up many good points about how the Left has it's knickers suicidally tied in a knot, but he soon wobbles off target. What the writer dosen't see is the tragedy caused by the fiddelng around with an emasculated culture such as we have in the US. The Liberals are the boogie men today (and unfortunately for the next four long years) but nearly every quarter of the political spectrum in this nation justifiably belongs on Santa's "naughty" list.
Much can be blamed on modern liberals but also much of the blame needs to be shared among the greedy who have effectively put the liberals in power.

Also the writer's views on torture are about as unAmerican as any of the sins which he attributes to the four donkeys of the apocalypse.

The allusion to Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness remade into Apocalype Now is an interesting one, but in the end it sounds to me like the ravings of another sort of Kurtz figure, up the river of dispair whose banks are lined with the body parts of a hypothetical new world order of savagery (to scare off any trespassers)

The horror!
