Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus - Muslim Version.

The "religion" is Christianity.

This is a very serious presentation of the Muslim view of Christianity and Christ.

It's worth watching, not the least reason for which is that it reminds us why theology and philosophy still matter.

Interesting that this fellow implies/says that Christianity is illogical. Islam is logical? And putting the writings of a violent man ("prophet") above all else is logical? Ugh!!!!!

Oh Yes! And why, if Islam is so logical, did the Middle East become so backwards scientifically once that religion became prevalent there? Logical minds?

I could go on and on and on.......

One answer is that Christianity had to develop the intellectual skills necessary to reconcile the oneness of God and the threeness of the Trinity.

Another answer is that Islam rejected Hellenistic influences and retreated into a fundamentalist pietism that accepted a view of God that was arbitrary and irrational.
