Easy Peasy CTS117 and CYCI64
Happy Tuesday, everyone! Phew, what a weekend! Easter, lunch with family and friends, the Ringling Brothers circus…plus my computer decided to eat all my work-related files as well as crash my Picasa photo database. Sigh…technology! Blessedly, I was able to restore them all, but I was sweating it for a while!
Cassidy put herself down for a nap yesterday (she’s got some sniffles) so I was able to STAMP! Woohoo! Just a real simple card for my friend whose birthday is coming up; I used the color challenge from Can You Case It:
and my sweet friend Lesley’s sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch:
I must admit, this is not the most glamorous card I’ve ever made, but it needed to be quick and easy, and this little cupcake from Sweet Stuff fit the bill perfectly! I stamped it in Stazon on DSP in the challenge colors, stamped it again on my white panel, cut out the cupcake papers, adhered them, added glitter, sequins and a sentiment, and it was DONE!
Don’t they look good enough to eat? Yummy!
So here are a few pix from the circus; my small camera just doesn’t do well (or maybe it’s the user, not sure) in low light, so I don’t have too many. But we really had fun; I think John had the most fun of all!
Enjoy your day!

Triple CAS
Hi peeps! A three-challenge card today! Here are the challenges:
A sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch #2:
A CAS challenge from CAS-ual Fridays:
and an inspiration photo from Inspired By #46:
And here we go:
This card didn’t turn out at all the way I had first envisioned it! I fiddled with a couple little images, didn’t like them, chucked them, tried something else, chucked that, then remembered these pretty chipboard stickers I had…and the colors in this butterfly matched the necklace pretty well! I made the card a wee bit narrower so that it will fit into a normal envelope even with the butterfly hanging over the edge. A little bit of baby powder patted on the sticky side keeps it from sticking to the envelope!
Can you see the glitter on the wings? So pretty! I added an Artistic Outpost sentiment and a little flower (the rule of three) to finish it off. Oh, and the mat is Sahara Sand with Distressed Dots stamped in craft white! Thanks for visiting today!
Cassidy is taking Lambie for a walk in the yard….but he has to be sitting in the cart just so!
