AYSI 275 Welcome Little One

Happy Friday, everyone!  Time for a new As You See It challenge, and we have a fun "recipe" for you...you must use all the "ingredients" in the recipe to create your project!  So here we go:

I need a baby shower card for my niece, so the recipe worked perfectly!  It's a really simple card:

My diecut is the large banner from Stylish Shapes; the embossing folder is the retired Perfect Polka Dots on the banner; the "B" is blue, bird and baby rattle; the subtle color is Balmy Blue; and the something shiny are the glittery clouds on this fun printed paper!  My sentiment and the bird are from the very old Nursery Necessities and the rattle is from the also-retired Holiday Blitz:

And here's a picture of the big sparkly cloud...so hard to capture that sparkle!

I hope you'll visit the As You See It blog and play along with our fun recipe and create a no-calorie treat for someone today!  Thanks for stopping in....enjoy your day and be blessed!

PP582 Bunny Trio

Hi peeps!  Another Paper Players challenge for us, with Joanne as our hostess with her pretty color palette shown here:

The first thing that came to mind was flowers, but I have been stamping a lot of flowers lately and I wanted to do something different! I had an old wooden set out on my desk called Holiday Blitz, and it has a funny little bunny image in it, so that's what I chose!  Here we go:

I stamped a bunny in each of the colors, diecut them with a Stitched Rectangle die, then gave them each a carrot from the retired Basket Bunch set.  I mounted them on a Basic White panel, embossed with the Elegant Dots embossing folder, then added some gingham ribbon for fun!  The sentiment is from Our Daily Bread Designs' Mini Tag Sentiments!

And since the Just Us Girls want to see embossing folders this week, I am entering it there as well!

This is such a fun, fresh color combo, I hope you'll have some time to play along with us at the Players!  Be sure to "hop" right over to the PP blog and check out what the Design Team created as well!  See you there!  And thanks for popping in!

Dana sent me this photo of Eden....she's straddling BOTH beds.  I asked her where Ginger was and she said she was probably burrowed under the covers of Dana and Wayne's bed, LOL!  Poor Eden!  Although she looks like she is sound asleep here, so I guess she's comfortable!  Enjoy your day and be blessed!

"Be still before the Lord  and wait patiently for him;  do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.  Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;
do not fret—it leads only to evil.  For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land."  Psalm 37:7-9

IB165 Lucky Day

Hi everyone!  What a fun Inspired By challenge we have for you today!  Check this out:

I was gifted a cute little rainbow die a LONG time ago when my CTD teammate Laura started Lil'Inkers!  I don't think I have ever used it!  I cut it out using Soft Seafoam, Granny Apple Green and Garden Green cardstocks and this is what I came up with:

I didn't use our optional sketch but instead went with one from Hand Stamped Sentiments:

I mounted my lucky green rainbow on a piece of Whisper White cardstock that was embossed with the Stitched With Whimsy die, and added a little shamrock from a retired SU set:

The rainbow dies also have a couple of cloud dies, so I used them as well, adding a sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings and a couple more shamrocks from Itty Bitties:

I used a piece of Soft Seafoam DSP for my background, and the final addition was a little Soft Seafoam "ribbon" of cardstock that I embossed with a cute pattern!  I don't make "lucky" cards as a rule but this was a fun one!

Hopefully you'll find some lucky inspiration with our challenge this week and you'll come play along with us!  Meanwhile, check out what all the DT created over at the Inspired By blog!  Thanks for popping in today!

Think this dog loves her human?!  Enjoy your day and be blessed!
