TSSC364 and RRCB16

DSCF0394

Happy Wednesday, peeps!  I have a card for two challenges today; the sketch from Technostamper:

and the Retro Rubber twine or ribbon challenge:

RRCB16

If you’re like me, you make cards and then they don’t get mailed out, or they’re not for the right occasions or whatever!  I am committed to sending out more cards, especially to my TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) friends on their weight loss journey.  We all need an encouraging note to keep us motivated!  So that’s what this card will be for!

I found these gorgeous papers in my stash from a tablet called Stella Rose by MME, and I thought it would be pretty for the sketch.  Since the Retro Rubber wants older stampers, I pulled out SU’s Friends 24-7 from several years ago and stamped the bird and butterflies in SU’s new In Color, Delightful Dijon:

I mounted the papers on some textured cardstock from a very old paper stack; added some Soft Suede and Gold baker’s twine; some sequins; and a couple of organdy roses:

The sentiment banner is from SU’s And Many More, stamped in Soft Suede.  And I wasn’t sure about the Delightful Dijon color, but it’s growing on me…it’s a nice, warm shade and I think I’ll like it for fall!  Thanks for visiting today!

Cassidy asked her mommy to take a selfie of them both!  Cute!

TSSC363 Adventure Awaits Graduation

DSCF9977

Happy Wednesday, peeps!  I had some fun stamping time yesterday and I made this graduation card for a customer order…it uses Mary Jo’s Technostamper sketch:

I know this is a rather non-traditional graduation card, but my customer said she didn’t have any color preference, so I chose some SAB paper I had laying around and pulled out Adventure Awaits….I think these sentiments are perfect for a graduate:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Adventure Bound Graduation Stampin Up

I stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede on an oval of Whisper White,  then stamped the banner in Calypso Coral on a scrap and cut it out.  It looked a little bare, so I had an “aha” moment and decided to stamp the sunburst from Kinda Eclectic in Soft Suede on the background, then popped up the banner with a couple of dimensionals…I love the effect!  I added a little border and some sequins from a Paper Pumpkin kit for some sparkle!

I recently won a Misti from Lydia at Understand Blue and I have had a lot of fun learning how to use it and practicing with it!  THANKS, LYDIA!  I am overwhelmed with gratefulness, as I really wanted one after seeing all the glowing reports in blogland!  So here is one of my tries for the inside of my grad card….I had cut this graduation stamp apart so I could use it separately and of course, now I wanted to use it together…the Misti helped me line it up and I was able to line up the overstamped sentiment from Guy Greetings perfectly too!  Woohoo!

I love how this turned out….thanks for visiting today, too!

Cassidy began playing with my new In Color pads and reinkers—”these are PEOPLE lining up to do gymnastics, Grammy”—and before I knew it, she had ALL my reinkers lined up in rows.  We had to count them (there were over 60) and then of course, guess who had to put them all away because she can’t read?!  Oh well, she had fun and it kept her occupied for a few minutes, LOL!

Happy Tuesday, peeps!  I have a card for three challenges today!  The Technostamper sketch challenge; the Retro Rubber Anything Goes challenge,

RRCB13

and The Shabby Tea Room’s inspiration challenge:

Neither John nor I have our mothers any longer, but we are blessed to have the sweetest stepmother/stepmother-in-law ever!  So this is her Mother’s Day card:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Artistic Outpost Lovely Day

I used some Graphic 45 papers and turned the sketch on its side to accommodate my pink bicycle; I stamped it (a retired image from Artistic Outpost’s A Lovely Day) in Pink Pirouette on Naturals White cardstock, then added some script from French Foliage in Sahara Sand:

DSCF9750-002

I added some butterflies from a Clearly Besotted set called Good Times; the sentiment is from the same AO set, with a little addition from Endless Birthday Wishes, added some sequins, and I combined a few sets for the inside too:

Teeny Tiny Wishes, And Many More, Endless Birthday Wishes and the florals are from Clearly Besotted as well!  FUN and I know she will like this!

One of my customers started her Paper Pumpkin subscription this month, and sent me these pictures of the little boy for whom she nannies, getting into his stampin’ groove:

Happy Tuesday, peeps!  A real quick post today, it’s errand-running day!  I’ve got a Christmas card for you, for the Merry Monday cat or dog challenge, as well as the Kraft Journal’s Anything Goes – Girlfriends challenge!

I also used the Mary Jo’s Technostamper sketch for this week:

I like cats and dogs, but surprisingly, I don’t have many stamps of either…especially with a Christmas theme!  I did remember this set, Winter is Calling, had a little puppy in it, so I pulled it out and stamped it simply in Real Red, then added some digital DSP, burlap and sequins and mounted it on a Crumb Cake card base:

The “girlfriends” challenge is sort of tongue-in-cheek;  the two girls are obviously friends, so that’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it!!!  Here’s a closeup of my little pup, and you can see the glittery snow, too:

DSCF9409

My sentiment is from Great Greetings, stamped on the banner from the Circle Card thinlet.

I have to confess that I haven’t been doing a lot of stamping lately (which I need to remedy) but I have been knitting up a storm!  I made a poncho for my niece for next fall; she just turned a year last month, so I hope she gets a lot of use from it!  I loved knitting with this wool, it was soft and easy to work with, and now I want to make a sweater of my own with it….if I dare!!!   I have to confess that Dana crocheted the flowers as well as the string tie, as I don’t know how to crochet!! So here it is:

TSSC360 & JUGS287 Big and Bold

DSCF9043

Happy Thursday, everyone!  It has been rainy for the last couple of days…I know, April showers bring May flowers, but I am really hankering for some sunshine!  SO I made a card with some big, sunshiney, bold flowers and sentiments for the following challenges:

Just Us Girls wants Spring:

and Technostamper has a perfect sketch:

I pulled out the biggest flowers from Flower Patch and the big “smile” from So You and went to work:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings So You Flower Patch Stampin Up

Really pretty simple: I stamped and masked the flowers & leaves, added the sentiment and a ribbon and mounted it on a Daffodil Delight card base!  I used Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Pink Pirouette and Old Olive.  Easy peasy!

Happy Tuesday, peeps!  One more day of Sale-a-bration, woohoo!  It was a busy month for me!  I did squeeze in some stamping time yesterday to play with Mary Jo’s Technostamper  sketch:

I was a bit stumped as to what to do with this All Abloom DSP, but when I saw the sketch, I thought it would be fun to reverse the panels and use a floral for the right side:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Summer Silhouettes Thank You Stampin Up

I tore a couple of strips of cardstock for a little visual interest and stamped the leafy images from Summer Silhouettes in Pistachio Pudding on the left, and added a little Lost Lagoon strip underneath, then finished it with some Lost Lagoon ribbon.  My sentiment was stamped on a piece of white cardstock which I diecut with my Chalk Talk die, and I lightly stamped the same leaf on it as well before stamping my sentiment:

DSCF8911

The little flower is from the same set!  I will be needing lots of thank you cards for some new customers, so you’ll be seeing more of them in the future!  And most of them will be simple, so they’ll be easily duplicated!

DSCF8482

Hi everyone!  A quick card today, using Mary Jo’s pretty Technostamper sketch:

I have been needing lots of thank you cards for all the SAB orders I’ve been getting, so I pulled out some Best Year Ever DSP scraps and the Flower Patch stamp set:

I was worried these prints might be too busy for the florals, but I like them together!  I stamped the flowers in Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry and Pool Party, then diecut them with the Flower Fair dies:

DSCF8482-001

I added some Soft Sky seam binding and In Color sequins, then stamped “thanks” from the Great Greetings set!  Fresh and fun, and thanks for visiting!

Cassidy and Grampy built a snowman….well, Grampy did the building; Cassidy added the carrot and some stones:

DSCF8045

Happy Wednesday, peeps!  We got some snow yesterday, but the sun came out later and it was just such a pretty day!  Still cold though!  Sadly, I needed a sympathy card, and it was a perfect day to stay inside and stamp.  I used the Technostamper sketch and the Retro Rubber challenge to use eyelets :

RRBC08

Wow….I had to go looking on my shelf for my eyelets, but I was able to find them and paired them with some DSP from last year, and an Artistic Outpost image that I love to use for these kind of cards:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Windmill Sympathy Petite Pairs Stampin Up Artistic Outpost

I originally had planned to put the checked strip across the bottom in front of the stamped image, but I didn’t like how it looks, so I used my Xacto tool to cut out the bottom part of the image, which was stamped directly on a piece of My Minds Eye DSP from my stash,  and laid it over the checked DSP.    I used a ticket die from Simon Says Stamp for my sentiment from Petite Pairs, stamped in Island Indigo.  My eyelets are old Bordering Blue ones, but they match the colors fairly well:
