Club Treats

Happy Tuesday, peeps!  My hostesses and I had a fun time on Sunday at my appreciation lunch, and I even had a helper!  Cassidy told me she wanted to go home with me after church and when I told her I had stampers coming and I was going to put her to work, she said okay!  I can't show you all the projects we made, but I will show you a couple of treat things we stamped; one at the luncheon, and one at my latest club!  We made this one at club; it uses the little mini treat boxes that were on the Clearance Rack along with some Country Floral Lane bundle goodies:

Images were stamped in Sweet Sorbet and Mint Macaron and punched with the punch; a layer of Petal Pink helped tie everything together.  The back featured Country Gingham DSP in Mint Macaron, a heart in Petal Pink and a little "sweet" from Conversation Bubbles:

And the sweet treat inside was M&Ms!!!

We made this chocolate bar cover at the hostess party; these are no-sugar bars from Russell Stover, but any chocolate bar would work!  We stamped a little design from the On the Farm on a piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock to wrap around the bar, then added some Dandy Designs DSP.

The cow was diecut from A Day at the Farm DSP and the "yum" is from Conversation Bubbles as well.

The girls actually used the burlap ribbon from the Country Floral Lane bundle for their ribbon (when you pull on it, the candy bar comes up) but I ran out for my sample!  Tying the ribbon at the top keeps the bar in place within the sleeve until you're ready to pull it out.

Cassidy actually stamped both projects we made, but we can't share the other one for a wee bit (wink wink).  She is quite absorbed in making her candy sleeve here:

After all my guests went home, she went back into the craft room and made another card for her friend:

I don't think that dirt bike stamp was ever inked up, glad it got some use!  Thanks for visiting today--enjoy it and be blessed!

Valentine Projects

Happy Wednesday, peeps!  Prior to my customer appreciation party, I was stamping like mad to create a few samples for the upcoming Valentine holiday!  Here are a few I made:

I really appreciate the generosity of other demonstrators and crafters who so freely share their ideas!!! This sweet little box, created with the Gift Box Punch board, features Sending Love DSP and a sentiment from Suite Sentiments.  I found the sample from Beth McCullough HERE!

This wee little box uses a 6x6" sheet of DSP, and it uses a sentiment from Friendly Wishes, stamped in Sweet Sugarplum.  Sam Donald, who is the QUEEN of the Envelope Punch Board, has a quick tutorial HERE:

Dana gave me a little tin that had some Key Lime mints in it....it's tiny, only about 1 1/2 x 2 3/4".....but just the right size to decorate with some Sending Love DSP, a silver glimmer heart and silver foil arrow, and a couple of rhinestones along with a little sentiment from Sealed with Love:

And finally, this little triangle treat box features some SAB Carried Away DSP and another sentiment from Suite Sentiments....have I mentioned how much I love this set, too?!  You can find the directions for this box from Jane Carroll HERE:

There is still lots of time to make some of these Valentine treat boxes....so get cracking!  And thanks for visiting today!

Remember Pez?  And how challenging it was to get all the candy in before the spring sprung?   It's still around!

Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Paper Players 321 Sweet Treats

Happy Sunday, peeps!  It's time for a color challenge at the Paper Players, with Laurie as our hostess!

I was thrilled to see this color combo, because it let me play with SU's pretty Presents and Pinecones DSP....which I resisted getting for a while, but so glad I gave in!  I chose to make a couple of treat boxes and a simple card:

We'll start with the card!  I was really just sort of playing around with the leafy images from Foxy Friends, thinking about how they could be turned into a wreath, and it didn't turn it too badly, so I went with it!  I curved the larger frond into a semi-circle and stamped it in Emerald Envy, then added the smaller frond over top in Mint Macaron.  I added a few red glimmer paper  embellishments (Pretty Pines thinlits) and the last little red pearls from my Stitched with Love card kit.  Final touch was a red bow, some speckles (Itty Bitty Backgrounds) and a sentiment from Christmas Pines:

Next up is this adorable triangle treat box!  I just love this and it is easy to make.  I found the directions HERE.  I made my box with Mint Macaron and Presents & Pinecones DSP and liberally decorated it with embellishments from Pretty Pines, some offset Stitched Shapes circles, a banner (Oh What Fun) and some beautiful Emerald Envy ribbon:

Check out those double-layered pinecones in Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper!

And here's the inside (no candy yet!), which I decorated with a sentiment from Oh What Fun:

Finally, SU has these cute little clear treat boxes, so I simply wrapped some polka dotted DSP from a couple of years ago around the center, added a sentiment and some holly (Stitched with Cheer) and filled it up with some mints:

I wrapped the top with the Candy Cane Lane baker's twine and added some of the little bells SU has in the holiday catalog...another level of sweetness!

I hope you'll play along with our fun holiday colors and be sure to check out what the other designers created at the Paper Players!

Well, it finally happened!  After hanging by a thread, Cassidy, with the help of some gum, lost her other front tooth:

I've been singing "All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth" all weekend long!  Enjoy your day!
