National Enquirer seems convinced that the presidential candidate named in the DC Madam's phone records is Ted Cruz. Update!

Montgomery Blair Sibley, a former lawyer for madam Deborah Palfrey, has filed a dramatic appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court for permission to publish her unconventional “black book,” which consists of some 15,000 pages of phone records and calls to clients, as well as their calls requesting the $300-an-hour services from her gaggle of beautiful hookers! 

But Radar has learned The National ENQUIRER will this week report its findings of yet another exhaustive and investigative probe that will quote journalist detectives who claim the mystery candidate almost certainly “has to be Cruz.” 

Investigator Wayne Madsen, who was on a team of reporters hired by Hustler Magazine’s boisterous owner Larry Flynt to investigate the madam, told The ENQUIRER that Cruz should be concerned! 

“If Montgomery Sibley has what he says he has, it has to be Cruz,” he said in an interview — an advance copy of which was provided to Radar. 

“Going on what I know about the other male candidates still in the race, it isn’t any of them, and Palfrey didn’t provide call boys, so it wasn’t Hillary.”

Of course right now this is all simply gossip, and there is no reason to jump to any real conclusions.

However having said that Ted Cruz has always been my top suspect as well.

Can you imagine what happens to this GOP race if Cruz is knocked about this scandal?

Update: Yep it looks like it's Cruz alright.

A lawyer who represented the so-called “D.C. madam” says he has phone records that could influence the outcome of the presidential election, and he’s threatening to release one or more names on the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court if he’s denied a hearing on his right to distribute them. 

Montgomery Blair Sibley, the late madam Deborah Palfrey’s colorful attorney, has been subject to a restraining order since 2007 barring him from releasing the information, which he says includes 815 names, addresses and Social Security numbers of Verizon Wireless customers. 

“Time is of the essence because people are casting votes in primaries and caucuses,” he says. “I believe this information is relevant to that political discourse.” 

Sibley first said the records could be relevant to the presidential race in January, when there were 15 high-profile candidates. Now, just three Republicans and two Democrats remain – though Sibley won’t say if any are implicated, citing fear of being jailed for contempt.

I first heard about this story last night on the Rachel Maddow show, and I have to admit I was intrigued.

Now assuming that this Sibley guy is not simply an opportunist looking to get some attention during a "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride" of a campaign cycle, who do we think would be the most likely candidate to be damaged by anything contained in these phone records?

D.C. Madam commits "suicide".

A woman police believe to be convicted Washington escort service operator Deborah Jeane Palfrey committed suicide, officials said Thursday.

A body police believe to be that of Deborah Jeane Palfrey was found in a shed near her mother's home Thursday morning in Tarpon Springs, about 20 miles northwest of Tampa.

There was a suicide note, but police did not disclose its contents or how she killed herself.
Police said they were trying to confirm the woman's identity, and declined to release more details until a news conference Thursday afternoon.

There is not enough tinfoil on the planet for me to effectively deal with this story!

I don't know this woman and cannot possibly determine whether she was suicidal or not but my first instinct is to look at other possibilities first. She had a lot of a dirt on a lot of famous, powerful people. Anyone of them would have had plenty of reason to take her out.

Republican politicians are just whores who cannot tell the truth, but here is one prostitute who can pass a lie detector test.

A former New Orleans prostitute who says she had an affair with Sen. David Vitter has passed a lie-detector test and will provide details of the four-month relationship at a press conference Tuesday, according to Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt.

Wendy Cortez, whose real name is Wendy Ellis, says she had a sexual relationship with Vitter, R-La., in 1999, when he was a state legislator.

Copies of the results of Cortez's polygraph test, which she took at Flynt's request, will be provided to reporters at the news conference at Flynt's office in Beverly Hills, Calif., Hustler said in a news release Monday.

Vitter spokesman Joel Digrado wouldn't comment on the Flynt news conference. In an e-mail, Digrado said, "Sen. Vitter and his wife have addressed all of this very directly. The senator is focused on important Louisiana priorities like the water resources bill and the Iraq debate."

Larry Craig gets vilified and given the bums rush for possibly trying to make a friend in the men's room, with a man. The hypocritical Republicans jump all over Craig for being unable to control his sexual proclivities and act like he is suddenly radioactive.

However Vitter gets a free pass and continues to represent the American people after being accused of breaking the law by paying for sex, with a woman. Nobody comes out saying he needs to leave office or acts all indignant that he cannot control his sexual proclivities.

Now I know that Craig pleaded guilty to "disorderly conduct", but he could have been faced with those same charges if he had an argument with somebody over a parking space.

But Vitter paid a woman, who is not his wife, to have sex with his pudgy ass! That is a real crime.

Now just in case anybody thinks I am not being fair, I will go on record as saying I could not care less WHAT these guys do to satisfy their sexual urges. Larry Craig could pull a train in the men's room as far as I am concerned. And David Vitter could have orgy's in his hotel room with a dozen or more ladies of the evening. I would never deign to pass judgement on them.

That is if they were not total fucking hypocrites!

If you are a "families values" Republican then you have raised the bar for yourself. You are standing yourself up as an example of the kind of deeply moral individual that your party arrogantly demands that all Americans attempt to emulate.

So if you are found to be the complete opposite of the person you claimed to be, and campaigned as, then you should step down from your public office. Because you attained that office by completely misrepresenting yourself. You are a liar. And we do not need any more liars running our country anymore.

And if you are a party which claims to be the arbiter of that which is moral and ethical in this country, then you cannot choose to treat those who have betrayed your trust based on which betrayal you find personally the most repugnant.

I look forward to watching the Republicans demanding that David Vitter take a lie detector test, and if he fails , to leave office just like they asked of Larry Craig. It is the fair thing to do.

New allegations tie Sen. David Vitter to a high-priced brothel in his hometown, one day after he publicly apologized for his connection to an alleged prostitution ring in Washington, D.C.

On Monday, Vitter acknowledged being involved with the so-called D.C. Madam, hours after Hustler magazine told him his telephone number was among those she disclosed. A day later, new revelations linked him to a former madam in New Orleans and old allegations that he frequented a former prostitute resurfaced, further clouding his political future.

Jeanette Maier on Tuesday said Vitter was once a client of the Canal Street brothel. She pleaded guilty to running the operation in 2002. Vitter won his seat in the U.S. Senate in 2004.

No wonder this guy has completely dropped out of sight!

God what an unbelievable hypocrite! Apparently he was Rudy Giuliani's pick for Vice President if he won the nomination. Not anymore buddy!

"As far as the girls coming out after seeing David, all they had was nice things to say. It wasn't all about sex. In fact, he just wanted to have somebody listen to him, you know. And I said his wife must not be listening," Maier said in an interview with The Associated Press.

Okay I don't buy this part at all. If you want somebody to just talk to then you go to a therapist, not a prostitute! Unless of course the talk you are interested in is of a sexual nature.

The guy was a perv, and I could respect that if he did not act like his shit did not stink and deign to judge other people on their lifestyle choices. If you are going to throw stones buddy you better make sure your house is made of fucking steel!

This has already exposed one lawmaker as a hypocrite.

We will probably never know, but look how the people at Wonkette sum it up.

Do you know why we’re underwhelmed by this rumor? Because even if it’s a fact, which it probably is, there’s no way it would have any impact on Cheney’s “career.” This is a draft-dodging half-human war criminal with a pregnant lesbian daughter who tells senators to fuck themselves and shoots his own friends in the face. Ordering an outcall hooker is positively innocent compared to the well-known things Cheney does every day.

That is just an awesome post! If I could write like that I might be able to make a buck off of this impossible to categorize blog. But then everybody would know that I don't have any integrity, unstead of just my family and close friends.
