A pregnant mother of two is in critical condition after she was shot by her 3-year-old daughter, who picked up her father’s gun inside her car. 

The mother, 21-year-old Shaneque Thomas, was parked outside a Plato’s Closet thrift store in Merrillville, Indiana when she was shot from behind by her young daughter. 

Police said the father, Menzo Brazier, left the legal but loaded 9mm handgun between the console and the front passenger seat after he left the vehicle to go inside the store, reported WMAQ-TV. 

The child is then said to have climbed over from the backseat and reached to pick up the gun before accidentally firing, hitting her mother though the upper right part of her torso.

It's a good damn thing that bullet did not hit the fetus, because that is the only thing that would convince the Republicans to do something about gun violence in this country.

Men, women, and children can die by the truckloads and the Republicans could not, and do not, care one little bit.

But abortion, even bullet abortion, is one thing they simply could not handle.

Of course their solution would almost certainly involve some kind of maternity size bullet proof tummy shield, but at least they would have to weigh in.

The 2nd Amendment, causing death and mayhem for over two hundred years.

International nonprofits have lost the ability to provide birth control, HIV testing and fistula surgeries in the poorest communities around the world. Half a million U.S. teenagers no longer have access to sex education programs. 

In a single year, President Donald Trump has already decimated reproductive rights and access to family planning in the U.S. and around the globe. He reinstated and massively expanded the Global Gag Rule, restricting $8.8 billion in U.S. foreign aid funding for international health programs that provide or even mention abortion. He defunded the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), a global maternal health organization that provides contraception and pregnancy care to low-income women in 150 countries. The group had relied on U.S. money to help to prevent 295,000 unsafe abortions ― a leading cause (13 percent) of maternal deaths around the world. 

International health workers are already seeing the effects of Trump’s policies on women and girls. 

“Girls aren’t able to get contraception, and they’re starting to come back pregnant, suicidal, bereft,” said Lisa Shannon, a global women’s rights advocate who works with reproductive health clinics in East Africa. “They’re desperate, and they’ll do whatever it takes. The only difference here is that the women will die from unsafe abortions.”

Donald Trump loves women when they look like Stormy Daniels, dress pretty for him, or constantly kiss is tangerine colored ass, but when it comes to supporting polices that help them, Trump simply does not give two shits.

Trump follows the GOP talking points and labels himself "pro-life," but in reality, living breathing people, who are not unborn fetuses, are already dying unnecessarily on his watch, and he has no intention of doing anything to protect them.

“You know, Howard, she’s got the kind of a body and makeup where, about one day after the baby, it’s going to be the same as it was before,” Trump said during an appearance on Stern’s show on Dec. 7, 2005. 

“You’re giving her one day?” Stern asked. 

“One or two,” Trump replied. 

Moments later, the future president reconsidered. “I think I’ll give her a week,” he said. “No, I’ll give her a week.” 

Trump’s remarks drew laughter from Stern’s female co-host, Robin Quivers, and Trump ultimately indicated that his ultimatum to Melania was not entirely serious. 

“If there’s cellulite, will you be man enough to stay in the relationship?” Stern asked at one point. 

“I will,” Trump answered. “I will love her so much. You have no idea. I’m a very loyal person. I will love her so much.”

Yes he was so loyal to Melania that seven months later, and only a few months after she gave birth, he was cheating on her with a porn star.

Yeah, that right there is true love.

So apparently Bristol's new baby bump is female.

The future is female. Bristol Palin revealed that she’s having a baby girl with husband Dakota Meyer in a sweet post to Instagram on Thursday, March 2. 

“Dakota and Tripp officially outnumbered 🙈🤗,” the proud mom-to-be, 26, captioned an image of herself gazing lovingly at Meyer, 28, as he holds up a sign announcing the baby’s gender. “So excited to let you all know, ITS A GIRL!! 💕”

The couple announced their happy baby news — Palin’s (cough cough) third child, and her second with Meyer — on December 9 in a joint statement to Entertainment Tonight. 

“We are so excited to announce that our family is expanding!” they said at the time. “God has blessed us so much; we are thankful for His grace and new beginnings. A springtime baby in the Meyer home and we can’t wait!”

This news broke the other day, but there were too many important news stories to give a shit about it then. 

Can't say that I really give much of a shit about it today either, but you know an occasional Palin story doesn't do any harm

By the way do you remember that my Palin family source once said that Sarah used pregnancies to control Todd, and convince him to let her do what she wanted?

Just thought that was interesting in light of Bristol's new pregnancy.

Well it looks like some of you were right when you mentioned that Bristol looked like she might be pregnant in her recent Instagram pics.

And look she is finally having a baby in the right order this time, AFTER she is married to its father.

That's what they say, practice eventually makes perfect.

So much for Dakota making a clean break now, because I think this time he knows this child is his.

Yep she still looks pregnant to me.

And look now that Palin got Track's case thrown out the whole family can continue to live together in Wasilla, where they know the law will never touch them.

By the it took me a second but I think the two that are missing are Tripp and Kyla Grace.

Here are a handful of texts to take our mind off of Donald Trump for awhile.

So I was going through my file of texts that I received a couple of years ago and I stumbled across  a few that I thought were kind of interesting.

The first is Gino talking about Bristol's plastic surgery.

Of course DWTS refers to Dancing with the Stars.

I would imagine that it refers to Bristol's second visit in 2012, since that coincides more closely to her relationship with Gino, though of course there were rumors that she was not exactly staying faithful to any one man back then.

And then of course it was not much later that she threw Gino aside for Joey Junker.

(You know Levi Johnston also mentioned Bristol receiving plastic surgery back around the time that Trig was born. Things that make you go "Hmmm.")

Speaking of Joey Junker it appears that Gino thought that he was a possible contender for baby daddy when Bristol first revealed that she was pregnant.

Of course as we know eventually Dakota was snagged as the lucky sperm donor. Even though as the text says she hit the sheets with Junker almost the minute that she arrived back in Wasilla.

You know, so I hear.

Well now those days are all behind her, and she finally has corralled the man or her mother's her dreams.  And don't they look happy?

The question of course is for how long?

I guess only time will tell. But I'm rooting for them.

After all when you read through Dakota's Facebook page it becomes pretty clear that they deserve each other. 

New technology will now allow anti-abortion groups to target women's phones. Gee thanks science!

A new investigation by Rewire, a reproductive health news service, shows that anti-abortion groups are moving beyond their time-honored approaches of picketing clinics and shouting at women: Now they're going digital, thanks to a technology known as mobile geofencing that can be used to target women through smartphones. 

The technology is typically used by advertisers who want to hone in on a target audience in a specific location. Have you ever gotten an ad for Lyft or Uber right after landing at an airport in a new city? That's an example of mobile geofencing in action. 

 A Boston advertising executive named John Flynn realized the technology could be used to target women seeking an abortion, and to send information on crisis pregnancy centers and adoption agencies straight to their smartphones. Rewire reports that Flynn began marketing his presentations on the technology to anti-abortion groups such as RealOptions, a Northern California crisis pregnancy center network, and Bethany Christian Services, an evangelical adoption agency, and they quickly saw the potential. 

Flynn's technology allows a geofence to be built around Planned Parenthood clinics and other abortion facilities, so anti-abortion messages may be sent to smartphones in clinic waiting rooms.

So if this technology targets women (How do they know it's women?) that are approaching these Planned Parenthood clinics that obviously means that a number of women who are going there for birth control or a cancer screening are going to receive this spam on their phones, telling them not to abort their non-existent fetuses.

This seems incredibly intrusive especially since these "crisis pregnancy" centers are notoriously full of misinformation about abortion, birth control, and even sex itself.

I think there should be a law against this.

Maybe when Hillary Clinton is President she will pass one. (Sorry couldn't resist.)

Blind Gossip site reveals the name of the former reality "star" who had to submit to a paternity test in order to prove who fathered her baby. Update!We never had a doubt.

Back in January this blind gossip item was posted on the Crazy Days and Nights website: 

This former A list celebrity who took a turn through several forms of reality television before heading back to her hometown and her celebrity family is worried . 

Apparently she is so worried that her family has been trying to reach a settlement that would keep her former lover from taking a paternity test.

Apparently after that another blind gossip site posted this: 

First of all, the mom – who is part of a famous family – is telling the truth about when and where the baby was born. So the conspiracy theorists need to chill on this one. Secondly, she is 95% confident that the baby’s father is who she says it is. 

Yes, that’s 95% (with a margin of error of plus or minus 5%), not 100%. There was another guy in the mix for a very brief time, but she swears that he was allegedly using protection.

It took all of us like a nanosecond to determine that it had to be Bristol Palin, and sure enough it was:  
When Bristol Palin found out she was pregnant with her second out-of-wedlock baby with a second baby daddy, things did not go smoothly!

Palin and fiance Dakota Meyer – a Naval officer and Medal of Honor recipient – had already broken up when she found out she was pregnant. 

Why had they broken up? Well, just days before their wedding, Palin found out that Meyer had been concealing a previous marriage. Yikes. 

Then she discovered that she was pregnant. Things were complicated by the fact that Bristol had had a brief fling with another guy around the time of the conception. Yikes again. 

Meyer had to take Palin to court to get a DNA test. During the course of that legal battle, Palin had to make the embarrassing admission that she had not been faithful to Meyer at the time the baby was conceived.

I know that a lot of us remain not entirely convinced that Dakota is the father, however apparently she has convinced Dakota that he is, so that is that.

However I did find it interesting that this gossip site also seemed confident that the reason that engagement fell apart is due to Meyer's secret marriage, and NOT because he caught her banging another guy as some on this blog have been assuming.

Personally I have always believed it was Dakota's previous marriage, due to the timing, so it is nice to have that confirmed to some degree.

And now I am getting information that Bristol is really working Dakota, and trying to convince him to make another go of it.

Except this time she cannot move to Kentucky with Tripp and set up house with her newest baby daddy because her custody case with Levi prevents that from happening.

Gee, what a pickle.

Update: By the way has anybody else noticed that the fake Bristol Palin blog has not been updated for the last ten days?

I wonder if Nancy French finally found the courage to break the ties, or if it is simply related to the drying up of the SarahPAC slush fund?

Rumors confirmed. Jordan Loewe has registered at Babies R Us.

I just received a notice that Jordan had registered on something called The Bump for baby shower items from Babies R Us.

Here is the registry.

The due date is listed as October 7, 2016.

That means that Jordan would have been impregnated in February.

That was about one month AFTER Track assaulted her and she had to crawl away from him and hide. (Update: Unless of course the impregnation happened in January, which I am being told might be the case. Oops.)

A woman who can take a beating and make a baby, should fit in just fine with that family.

Yes Bristol Palin we know you lied about when you gave birth to Sailor Grace Palin.

As has been pointed out multiple times here this is the image that showed up on Dakota Meyer's Facebook page on December 24th with the message: 

Best Christmas present ever!! I couldn't be more proud of this little blessing.

Now take a moment to blow that up as large as you can and take a very careful look at the tape attached to the IV on the bottom of what appears to be Bristol Palin's right hand.

Do you see the date?

If you have the tools and the know how you can also lighten it, like this.

Do you see it now?

Now there has been a VERY aggressive effort to suggest that this image is photoshopped. However if you can lighten it yourself you will see a very similar image as well.

So that would appear to indicate that Sailor Grace Palin was born NOT on December 24th, 2015 but instead on November 4th, 2015.

Which would reinforce the gossip saying that she had already given birth when she was posted baby bump selfies in late November....

And also help to explain why she did not appear at the final custody hearing on December 21st, and instead participated by telephone.

Which leaves open the question, why?

After all Bristol was first photographed being all chummy with Dakota back on January 25th.

I think most of us assume that once she met the guy she also probably....you know....MET the guy.

However Bristol was not formally engaged to Dakota until the middle of March, which means that even if she got pregnant that night her baby should not have been born until mid December.

So is THAT it? Is she so determined to cling to the last vestige of Christian purity that she would lie about the birth of her new baby simply to create the impression that she would not give up the goods until Dakota put a ring on it?

I have to admit I'm not really sure exactly why.

But I Do know that if you go ask Bristol on Instagram, that she will ask you if you are high, and then tell you to "go fuck yourself."

Well she certainly preserved that Christian purity thing didn't she?

Okay so I have a confession to make.

I really tried with this most recent pregnancy NOT to go all conspiratorial.

After all not EVERYTHING these people do can be a lie, a manipulation, or a made up part of the family mythology. Right?

But then things started to happen.

First we had the whole question of "Who's the daddy?"  Which neither the Palins nor Dakota Meyer seemed interested in putting to rest. (Why would somebody just let that go on?)

Then we had all of these rumors that Bristol gave birth sometime in November. (No confirmation so could just be people talking on the internet.)

Next there was the fact that Bristol phoned in her participation during Tripp's child custody case. (Well there are legitimate reasons for this, besides hiding a recent birth. Right?)

That was followed by the birth, and the Grizzled Mama's Facebook page showing her holding the newborn which originated from New Orleans.

WTF?

Now that has been followed by a post from our friend Malia Litman in which she called all of the area hospitals every day since December 11th and found that Bristol had NEVER been a patient at any of them.

I give up. Apparently EVERYTHING these people do is a lie, a manipulation, or made up part of the family mythology.

In another diss, Meyer deleted all photos and mentions of his 25-year-old ex-fiancee from March 2015 to the present.

I gotta say that I love the fact that some of the tabloids are convinced that Dakota must be the father.  Because that means that at some point Dakota might feel compelled to deny that he has anything to do with her newest family embarrassment.

In the meantime of course Bristol is channeling her inner Kardashian.

Yep, this could get VERY entertaining.

Of course that was posted yesterday, on December 19th, so five days from then puts the due date on December 24th. Hey, who doesn't want to spend the night before Christmas pushing a little human being out of your uterus?

Perhaps more interesting than that was this response to one of her commenters:

Well this is kind of interesting because as we know that IF Bristol wanted the father of her baby to participate in her life, she has the means to at least make him financially responsible. And yet I have serious doubts that she will do even that.

So here we have Bristol not only making it almost impossible for Levi to be a part of Tripp's life, without intervention from the courts, but acting like a victim because the sperm donor for her most recent baby bump does not want to participate in the child's life. 

I guess you really do reap what you sow.

Here is the video of Sarah Palin's CBN interview. Fake crying starts at the 5:38 mark. Update!

We have actually already covered this interview on Tuesday, but it is interesting to see it on video.

Not only does she fake cry towards the end of the interview but if you pay close attention around the 46 second mark you can see that once again they suggest that Bristol is pregnant with Dakota's baby.

"Then the tabloids went into overdrive when the long awaited marriage of her twenty five year old daughter Bristol didn't happen, even though she's pregnant."

If that does not give the impression that this kid is Meyer's I don't know what would.

They changed the comment in the text of the interview from "Then, the tabloids went into overdrive when the long-awaited marriage of her 25-year-old daughter Bristol didn't happen, even though she's pregnant with her ex-fiancé's baby." to "Then, the tabloids went into overdrive when the long-awaited marriage of her 25-year-old daughter Bristol didn't happen. Bristol was pregnant, but the father's identity has not been determined," which is actually worse, but left it much more accusatory in the broadcast.

I'm telling you I think they still want to give the impression that this is Dakota's kid, and are going to let the public hate on him for not stepping up to the plate.

Update: Palin took to Facebook to admit that she exaggerated her "cancer" scare:  

Anyway, in this particular interview when recalling a few potentially disconcerting times, I poo-poo’d the cancer scare because in the grand scheme of things, it’s no big deal. In fact, I didn’t even remember the technical name for my diagnosis. That’s why — when the interviewer interjected, “It was melanoma?” — I mumbled, “Something like that.” 

Then, I moved on to making my point about others dealing with tremendously more burdensome issues than that. 

So to clear things up and avoid any “woe-is-me” narrative, know that I’ve never used the word “melanoma” to describe my condition. I wasn’t trying to be evasive in not using the correct medical term “squamous cell carcinoma” either. It’s common. It’s treatable. Again, it’s no big deal.

Actually it kind of is a big deal because a LOT of news outlets focused on this part of the interview, and it attracted some completely undeserved sympathy from their readers.

Palin can try to minimize this, but I think we all recognize it as yet another lie that she was called out on.

This is a rather lengthy interview so let me provide the highlights.

On Fox News letting her go: 

"Some things happened that I haven't talked about publicly, things like getting canned from a job I really liked, sort of out of the blue, because I called somebody out," she said. 

Palin was let go from her job as a Fox News political analyst in June. 

"Next morning I got word, 'Oh, we no longer need you anymore,'" she recalled. "Yeah, it was a shock, but more power to Fox News." 

"They're a private enterprise," she continued. "They can fire someone for wearing the wrong color tie that day - that's their prerogative and I've been on both sides of the hiring and firing." 

"They (Fox) still interview you?" CBN News' Wendy Griffith asked the former governor. 

"Heck, yeah. I have a great relationship with them," she replied. "It was just kind of a little bit of a shocker of knowing that the 'haters' are going to love this one."

And we did love that one. And how nice to have it confirmed that she did not see it coming.

As for who she called out publicly, I think that was Bill O'Reilly.

Get this Palin is saying that Dakota Meyer IS the father of Bristol's baby:

There is no quote from her on this one, but how else would they have jumped to that conclusion?

Then there was a cancer scare?

"Bristol said, 'Mom, you need to go into the doctor and get that thing checked," Palin recalled. "She insisted and I resisted so I finally went in to a doctor and got something checked, came back, biopsy - a cancer." 

"Melanoma?" Griffith asked. 

"Yeah, something like that," Palin said. "Anyway, a surgeon dug it out and everything was okay."

Okay, well I guess this is possible. But I am pretty shocked that if true, Palin did NOT immediately use it to garner sympathy.

Palin also says she will support whoever the Republicans choose.

She likes Donald Trump, thinks he's a "fighter."

Thinks defeating ISIS is easy with a better leader.

Then they asks about Trig:

"The world got to know Trig when he was 16 weeks old," Palin said. "There I was on the campaign trail with him, and he's 7 years old now." 

"He's reading," she added. "He's not verbal, so it's kind of hard to understand what he's reading, but we know he is. He understands it." 

"His big sister, Piper, we call her the 'Trig whisperer' because she can interpret everything that he's saying," Palin shared. 

"Sometimes it's like, 'Piper, what is it that he's wanting?' And it's like, 'Mom, he wants his stuffed something or another.' How does she know that? But she does," she said.

Boy that Piper is a girl of many talents isn't she?

Palin also says that Tripp and Trig are best friends, which I have heard as well.

Palin then wraps up the interview with a bunch of babbling about America, God, and George Washington carrying a flag.

So to sum up according to this interview, Palin had cancer, Sailor is Dakota's kid, and Bill O'Reilly got Palin fired from Fox News.
