Nicolle Wallace identifies working with Sarah Palin as the first time she realized that she could no longer be a Republican.

Courtesy of Crooks and Liars:

CONAN: Was there a moment for you when you thought, "I'm not part of what those people may be, Republicans, or that person may be a Republican, but I'm not going with that?"

WALLACE: I mean, honestly, I think in 2008 to work for John McCain, who is also in pretty bad shape health-wise, to see that Sarah Palin's crowds were bigger and more enthusiastic for the crazy things she was saying, than him, was really the canary in the mine and the signal the party had changed.

CONAN: Telling you something was happening in this country that was angrier.

WALLACE: Yes.

CONAN: And more extreme. Darker.

WALLACE: Yes. so she gave me my first shove, Trumpism gave me my last kick out the door.

We have said it many times before here on IM, but it bears repeating.

Without Sarah Palin there would have been NO Donald Trump.

She helped to create the anti-intellectual, hating on the media, deny all reality, blueprint that Trump followed all the way to the White House.

The thing is we KNEW she was dangerous, that is why I focused on her here at the Immoral Minority.

But while I was working to undermine her chances of destroying the country, Trump came riding down that stupid escalator and started to out Palin Palin.

I mean hell, who thought THIS was literally the best way for anybody to start to campaign for president?

I certainly didn't.

Has it been ten years already?

And thus began one of the oddest occurrences in America political history.

At first I, along with my fellow Alaskans, celebrated the first female governor giving birth to a baby while in office, which was also obviously a first.

But then.....well we all know what happened then.

I think my only real regret after all of these years is that I could never figure out exactly why, how, or from where.

Lots of theories, some of them frankly a little insane.

But no definitive answers.

All we know for sure is that whatever Palin thought she was going to achieve by making this decision, it is clearly not what ended up happening.

Instead of living in the White House with full time nannies seeing to little Trig's needs, she is stuck back in Wasilla hawking weight loss products on the internet with her baby factory of a daughter.

Oh, how the not so mighty have fallen.

Sarah Palin is still getting speaking gigs thanks to Trig.

Courtesy of My Central Jersey:

Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican Party nominee for vice president, will speak at the 2018 New Jersey Right to Life (NJRTL) Banquet Dinner on April 20.

The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency, 2 Albany St., New Brunswick. Speaker, teacher and author David Hajduk will serve as master of ceremonies.

"We've actually been trying to get Sarah for a very long time," NJRTL Executive Director Marie Tasy said. "We are really excited that we are finally going to have Sarah come to New Jersey. She is an internationally sought speaker and a pro-life leader. We think her life experience is certainly one that people are very interested in."

Tasy said Palin has a child with Down syndrome.

"She does speak about her experiences when she found out she was carrying a child with Down syndrome," Tasy said. "I think it's certainly very impressive and inspirational to many women who face unexpected prenatal diagnosis and choose life.

"She is a great example of a woman who obviously chose life for this child. It's a great example to other women. It's especially inspiring now and is such a contrast to what we're seeing in places like Iceland who have virtually exterminated all children with Down syndrome through abortion."

Is still find this unbelievable.

It has been almost seven years since I wrote a post that offered definitive proof that Sarah Palin faked her 2008 pregnancy and birth, and STILL people refuse to accept that Sarah Palin is a ginormous fraud.

Man who knew that faking a pregnancy could be so lucrative?

Unbelievably Sarah Palin has learned NOTHING from these last ten years.

Courtesy of the Washington Examiner:

Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, said she would have a second tilt at the White House "in a heartbeat."

"I would do it again in a heartbeat," Palin said during an interview that aired Sunday on Fox News' "Life, Liberty and Levin" when asked whether she was glad she was chosen to run on Sen. John McCain's ticket.

"I would have push back harder on some of those who were trying to mold me into something that I was not during the campaign. I would've pushed back and gotten more truth out there, but heck yes," she continued.

Palin added that McCain "probably" selected her as his running mate for "political, practical reasons."

"He probably knew they needed someone younger, needed a female and needed a true conservative to balance everything else out and they were smart enough to have chosen someone with a lot of administrative experience. That was my career, it was in administration," she said.

That last part about being an administrator is laugh out loud funny to Alaskans.

This woman could not manage her own family, much less an executive office.

I have no doubt that Palin would accept that VP nomination again "in a heartbeat."

I mean without that her family would never have had the opportunity to embarrass themselves on the national stage in the way that they have, and she might still be considered a possible candidate for political office instead of a bitter dried up old has been.

The REAL question to ask is whether John McCain would have ever chosen her if he had it to do all over again.

As for the idea of running again, well we all know that is just a thing she says to get the mouth breathers all excited.

Sarah Palin is NEVER going to run for the presidency again, and likely not for any other political office either.

Not only is she carrying enough baggage to bring a Himalayan Sherpa to his knees, but her family is always one drunken night, extramarital affair, or unwed pregnancy away from hitting the front pages of tabloids all over the country.

Sarah Palin's pals Diamond and Silk get kicked off Facebook after their videos are deemed "unsafe for the community."

Courtesy of Raw Story:

Diamond and Silk,” the two North Carolina sisters who have profitably promoted themselves as Donald Trump’s biggest fans, took to Fox & Friends and Twitter this weekend in a panic after Facebook determined their content –primarily videos — is “unsafe to the community,” causing their traffic to collapse while hitting them in the pocketbooks.

The two, dubbed by MSNBC host Joy Reid as “Cubic Zirconia and Rayon,” (real names Lynnette “Diamond” Hardaway and Rochelle “Silk” Richardson), have become recognizable regulars on Fox News where they are notable for siting side-by-side and opining on the political topic du jour.

However things have taken a turn for the worse in the past six months as Facebook informed the two that their videos are unacceptable on the social media site.

Not typically a fan of censorship, but I cannot say I am going to shed a tear over this.

 These two women are TERRIBLE!

I mean look who they hang out with.

Clearly Facebook is dead serious about cleaning up their platform.

I for one am going to pay closer attention to what I post on the Immoral Minority Facebook page.

Not looking to give anybody an excuse.

Wait, people still interview Sarah Palin?

Courtesy of Fox News Insider:

The 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate said she sees "hypocritical double standards" when it comes to the left's push for more gun control measures.

She said all Americans have the constitutional right to protect themselves and their families in the same way celebrities and politicians are protected.

"We have every right, we have a God-given right that’s codified in our Bill of Rights to protect ourselves and to protect our property and our families. It’s not just a select few that government will choose who gets to be protected. The movie stars, the politicians in D.C., those in a courthouse, no. The Bill of Rights does apply to every single citizen of the U.S.," she said.

Responding to President Trump's renewed calls for border security, including using U.S. troops, Palin said it's "obvious" why Democrats are opposed.

"I think that they just fear that Americans aren’t gonna vote Democrat, so by golly they’ll import people who will," she said.

Palin said those in favor of "globalization" want cheap labor and Americans are getting "sick of it."

"It comes back to either supporting the rule of law, our legal immigration system, or supporting and incentivizing illegal immigration with no expectation of assimilating any of the people into our culture or anything else. It’s really whack. People are really sick of it," she said.

It's really whack?

Do you know what else is "really whack?" The fact that Sarah Palin does not understand that you cannot "import" people who will vote the Democratic ticket because they are not yet US citizens.

Unless of course Palin buys into that conspiracy theory that claims the 3 million votes that Hillary Clinton beat Trump by in the popular vote were cast by illegal aliens.

But that's just crazy, right?

Of course the idea that ANYONE would seek an opinion about ANYTHING from this whack-a-doodle has been is equally crazy.

Jay Roach the man who directed HBO's "Game Change" is also set to direct the television adaption of Michael Wolff's book "Fire and Fury."

Jay Roach with Julianne Moore who played Sarah Palin in Game Change.
Courtesy of Entertainment Weekly:

While Game Change director Jay Roach may no longer be working on that HBO movie about the 2016 election, he’s sticking to the Trump beat for his next project. Roach has been tapped to direct and executive produce the television adaptation of Michael Wolff’s Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, EW has learned.

Roach’s past dealings with politically charged dramatizations paid off with Emmy after Emmy after Emmy. He has four in total — two for HBO’s Recount (about the recounts in Florida after the 2000 presidential election) and two for Game Change (about John McCain and running mate Sarah Palin). Roach also earned two Emmy nominations for his Lyndon B. Johnson biopic, All the Way.

Based on the track record, might he have another potential awards contender with Fire and Fury?

Okay well I'm certainly loving this, Roach did a great job with Game Change.

But I bet there is somebody who is spitting nails over this news.

Yep, that's her.

So guess who is now more or less advising Donald Trump.

Courtesy of the Daily Beast:

At a time when President Donald Trump is eager to surround himself with supportive television personalities, he’s taken a particular liking to a pair of YouTube stars known for, among other things, a pro-Trump, anti-Eminem rap song titled “Trump’s Yo President.”

Diamond & Silk are not your prototypical Trump boosters. They are African-American women who have relied on the internet for their rise to fame (or infamy, depending on your political posture). They are known, predominantly, for their direct-to-camera, impassioned defenses of the president—and acid-tongued takedowns of his critics. But in recent weeks, the two have had a growing presence on Fox News, which has, in turn, put their commentary squarely on Trump’s radar. And, according to White House officials, he’s impressed.

Within the halls of the White House, Trump has repeatedly commented to aides over the past several months about how much he enjoys catching Diamond & Silk on TV, referencing specific clips and interviews they’ve done on shows such as Fox & Friends or Hannity, two West Wing officials and an outside Trump ally tell The Daily Beast.

According to those close to the president, Trump finds their unabashedly loyalty, as well as their style and flair, “fantastic.”

Yeah I guess we should have anticipated this after Diamond and Silk were photographed with the Wasilla Wendigo at Mar-a-Lago.

I wonder how much longer it will be before these two get joint appointed to run the newly created "Dark Skinned People Outreach Program" that Trump will surely create in order to convince the black folks that he loves their votes almost as much as he loves white people votes?

Sarah Palin with the only two black women in America that can stand her.

This is what the two women wrote on their original post:

Had a wonderful time at Mar-a-Lago with the fabulous Governor Sarah Palin along with her beautiful daughter Ms. Piper. She did a magnificent job as the keynote speaker at The Republican Party of Palm Beach County Lincoln Day Dinner. Such a phenomenal woman.

Actually this Diamond and Silk duo has appeared on Fox News, and other Right Wing outlets, bad mouthing the BLM movement, speaking out against Barack Obama, and spouting conservative talking points which the racists eat up with a spoon.

So of course they love them some Sarah Palin.

Oh well, there is no accounting for taste.

Or integrity.

Or common sense.

Sarah Palin flew all the way to Florida, and all she got for her troubles was an absentee president, and an inattentive crowd. Update!

Courtesy of WaPo:

If they came to see the president, they were disappointed. But the well-dressed crowd of Republican activists who gathered at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club here Friday night still got a glimpse of party royalty.

There by the poolside, in a pink shirt and sport jacket, was Donald Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son. And the headliner of the night was Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate, who could not help but observe the differences between the palm-fringed setting and her home state.

“Just days ago I was out plowing slow. I was chopping wood,” Palin told the crowd. “And I was — I kid you not — cooking caribou stew. Just like all of you, making a meal for the family. I just have to shoot it first.”

Okay first let's set the record straight that this idiot does not plow snow, chop wood, or actually shoot her dinner.

All of that is part of the Palin mythology which I would hope people can actually see through these days.

Which seemed to be the case as indicated by the end of this article:

Some of Palin’s lines drew laughter and applause, particularly those that echoed the phrases that propelled her to fame.

She derided the inquiries into Russian interference in the 2016 election as “resource-sucking investigations to nowhere.” She questioned whether Hillary Clinton had ties to “Russian oligarchs,” and repeated some favorite anti-Clinton talking points.

“How do I know all that? Because I keep my eye on Russia from my house,” Palin joked, drawing appreciative hoots from the audience.

As her speech veered into policy specifics about trade with China and other matters, however, the crowd’s attention appeared to shift to their meal. “I wish you would pay attention,” Palin admonished. “I traveled two days from Alaska to get here.”

As she was walking out the ballroom, Palin was asked if the crowd’s inattention and noisy chatter bothered her. She thought for a long second, and then said with a smile: “I like a crowd with energy.”

If this was Palin's audition for a cabinet position I think she might have blown it.

She is not just yesterday's news, she is ten year old news.

However if Trump is scraping the bottom of the barrel in search of replacements for the more competent people that he is firing on a daily basis, there may yet be some hope for this bottom dweller.

By the way that would actually indicate to EVERYBODY that Trump's presidency was in free fall.

Update: Here's a little more from the Sun-Sentinel:

Many in the the audience lost interest about a quarter of the way through the speech. Attendees voted with their voices, which kept getting louder and louder as Palin spoke, eventually sounding like a roar – so noticeable that she made a couple of comments noting the audience’s lack of attention.

“The first 10 minutes was inspirational. The last 10 minutes was blah, blah, blah, blah. She went way too long,” said Lori Konis of Coral Springs, an independent who voted for Trump in 2016.

God that's fun to read.

Sarah Palin heads to Mar-a-Lago.

Courtesy of The Hill:

Sarah Palin will be the keynote speaker at a GOP fundraising dinner at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort on Friday, the Palm Beach Post reported Tuesday.

The former GOP vice presidential nominee will address the Palm Beach County Republican Party during its annual Lincoln Fundraising Dinner.

It’s not yet known if Trump, who regularly travels to Mar-a-Lago on the weekends, will be there during the dinner. He is also known for dropping in at events taking place at his properties.

Okay so during the same week that Trump is scrubbing his Administration of those who will not bend to his will, or refuse to see the world as he sees it, it's suddenly announced that Sarah Palin is coming to his favorite place in the whole world for a fundraiser?

That is quite a coinky dink.

And let's face it with Trump clearly angry about the personnel he was convinced to hire by those who claimed some expertise, Sarah Palin would seem like a breath of fresh air.

Palin sees the world in the same black and whites as Trump sees the world.

She is just as fucking stupid as he is on most issues.

And she has proven herself to be a dedicated Trump ass kisser even after he unceremoniously dumped her by the side of the road after she endorsed him.

There is literally no longer any degree of crazy that I would not expect from this Trump White House.

Even the kind of crazy that would see Sarah Palin with a cabinet position in his administration.

It seems Sarah Palin came slithering out of her hidey hole to attend Billy Graham's funeral.

Source
Courtesy of NPR:

Some 2,300 guests sat under a symbolic large white canvas tent in Charlotte, N.C., for the Rev. Billy Graham's funeral service on Friday.

The setting evoked the "canvas cathedral" — two circus tents pitched together in Los Angeles in 1949 — to shelter the thousands of people who came to watch Graham preach, according to the Billy Graham Library. "The Los Angeles Crusade," eight weeks of services, would help raise Graham to national prominence.

President Trump and Melania Trump sat in the front row of Graham's funeral service Friday. Vice President Pence and his wife, Karen, and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and her husband, Todd, were also there.

This just gives more credibility to the idea that Palin wants her next job to be as a fire and brimstone evangelical preacher.

Of course Palin's connection was only tenuous, her real connection is with Franklin Graham, the man now being credited with undermining his father's legacy.

A legacy it should be mentioned that also contained heaping amounts of antisemitism.

By the way Palin also got an dishonorable mention on Real Time last night.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

When talking about former communications director Hope Hicks, Maher recalled the way she helped the campaign by steaming Trump’s pants while he was wearing them. She was the keeper of the steamer.

“Hope Hicks feels like she can be more effective steaming the pants of those in the private sector,” he joked.

When it came to Jared Kushner, he couldn’t believe someone would be so stupid as to hold a meeting in the White House for his own personal business affairs.

“I want to see his birth certificate,” Maher said. “I think it’s going to say: Birthplace: Alaska. Birth name: Jared Palin.”

Palin may want to be an evangelical preacher, but her real job will always be to serve as punchline for late night comedians.

So Bristol Palin is now back in Texas to continue her divorce battle with Dakota Meyer.

Courtesy of the Daily Mail:

Bristol Palin has returned to Texas after spending some time quality time with her family in her home state of Alaska amid reports her husband Dakota Meyer has filed for divorce.

The 27-year-old mother-of-three, who has two daughters with Dakota, took to Instagram on Wednesday to post a snapshot of herself enjoying the Alaskan winter with her two-year-old Sailor Grace.

'Already missing AK,' she captioned the image, which shows her eldest daughter bundled up in a bright pink snow suit while cuddled in her arms.

Of course leaving Alaska means that Bristol will be isolated from her support network that she relies on so completely.
What? No Track?

Broken families like this always seem to create a meme of "It's us against the world," which both binds them together and deepens their family pathology.

On her own Bristol is fairly fragile and cannot stand up for herself without breaking down and making it worse.

During her custody battle with Levi she seduced Dakota into becoming her white knight and used him as her go between when she was on the ropes.

Kind of makes me wonder what poor Texas SOB she has targeted to fight her fight this time?

(P.S. I kind of enjoy talking about this fucked up family again. After all covering the school shootings, Trump presidency, and decline of America can be so depressing sometimes.)

Sarah Palin loses it over fact that daughter's soon to be ex-husband is sticking her with the attorney fees.

Courtesy of Radar Online:

Mama grizzly Sarah Palin is roaring mad over her estranged son-in-law’s bid to get her daughter, Bristol, to pay his legal fees in the couple’s bitter divorce, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively!

In papers filed in Texas’ Travis County, Bristol’s baby daddy — Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer — asked the judge to force Bristol to cover his “attorney fees, expenses and costs through the trial.”

“Sarah is furious!” dished a source close to the former GOP vice presidential candidate.

“What’s really beyond any reasonable expectation is Dakota’s belief that Bristol would EVER give him any money for this divorce!” said an insider.

Man I knew this was going to be entertaining!

Clearly Dakota knows that the Palins simply do NOT pay for things, so attempting to get them to pay the legal bills will force them to shell out thousands of dollars to fight that, or convince them to settle things quickly to keep the costs low.

If the Palins choose to fight, Dakota can simply air their dirty laundry on gossip sites for thousands of dollars to pay his own legal fees.

Come on, we KNOW that Dakota knows all about what was really going on with Track, and with other Palin family members.

He must have hundreds of embarrassing stories to tell.

Ka-ching, Ka-ching.

Sarah Palin brags about Breitbart giving her a platform after the Gabby Giffords shooting when Roger Ailes tried to keep her from embarrassing herself.

Still  from Sarah Palin's "Blood Libel" video.
Unfortunately I have to link to Breitbart in order to share this story.

I of course do not encourage you to click the link, but it is only good blogging etiquette to provide it.

Courtesy of Breitbart:

The late Andrew Breitbart helped Sarah Palin defend herself when Fox News Channel’s former Chairman Roger Ailes denied her the opportunity to respond on air to the media’s false accusations framing her for inciting the attempted assassination of former Congresswoman Gabrielle “Gabby” Giffords (D-AZ) in the days immediately following the 2011 Tucson mass shooting incident.

“If it weren’t for Breitbart, so much of our commonsense defense wouldn’t have gotten out there, because I was working for Fox News at the time, and I was not allowed to go on the air to defend myself for days,” Palin said, speaking publicly about this for the first time, during a Friday interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight with Breitbart’s Senior Editor-at-Large Rebecca Mansour.

(That's right, Palin and RAM together again.)

“I think that that time was our toughest time in this last decade of being out there on a public platform, [with] false accusations that we were to blame for the Gabby Giffords shooting,” said Palin. “If it weren’t for Breitbart, so much of our commonsense defense wouldn’t have gotten out there, because I was working for Fox News at the time, and I was not allowed to go on the air to defend myself for days, and finally I bucked management of Fox News—I never even talked about this publicly—I bucked management and said, ‘I’ll do my own video, and I’ll post it, and I’ll explain to people that, no, we are not to blame.’ My relationship with Fox was never the same after that.”

Palin noted Ailes’ repeated refusal to allow her a platform to defend herself from a barrage of media attacks falsely accusing her of inciting mass murder.

“I had asked [Roger Ailes], ‘How many days do we have to go listening to this with no defense articulated at all? May I please go on the air?’ And he wouldn’t let me,” said Palin. “So that was a tough time.”

Ailes, for his part, was simply trying to protect his on air talent from embarrassing herself and attracting national ridicule, since at that time she was still considered a draw for Fox News.

Of course Palin defied Ailes, made her now famous "Blood Libel" video, and attracted far more scorn and ridicule than any amount of silence on her part would ever have brought down on her.

Which apparently she STILL does not realize.

Palin went on to make it even worse:

“[I wish] people understood what it does to a family, how it potentially could rip apart a family because everybody has a different idea of how to react to the circumstances around you, and that causes some stress,” said Palin. “I thank God every day that I have a strong family, and we’re doing great. Hopefully our story could inspire people to know that whatever they’re facing, the sun will come out tomorrow and things can get better. It’s just a matter of how you react to sometimes horrible circumstances around you.”

That's right folks the sun WILL come out tomorrow, and then if you have a "strong family" like the Palins by tomorrow evening your son might break into your house and beat your husband half to death, or y'all might show up drunk to a party and end up fighting with just about everybody until the police arrive, or you could once again wind up in court trying to help your daughter attempt to take custody away from another one her baby daddies.

Apparently in Palin's world that's what constitutes "doing great."

Sarah Palin's ghostwritten website mocks Democrats' emotional response to the Florida shooting because they also support a woman's right to choose.

Now I would never suggest that you actually visit Palin's ghostwritten blog, so here is the essential argument:

Watching liberal responses to the devastating shooting in Florida on Wednesday is like driving by a car accident on the side of the highway. You don’t want to look. You know you shouldn’t look. But, you look anyway.

We knew that liberals were going to say something dumb about guns before the smoke even cleared and before we had any idea where the guns came from.

The article then focused on California Senator Kamala Harris, and attempted to shame her for calling for better gun laws.

The excuse they use for mocking Senator Harris is her use of the word "babies" in this tweet.

The blog then presents a tweet  from last month and proceeds to make a false equivalency between the two.

Palin is literally so caught up in partisan hatred that she cannot seem to differentiate between an unborn fetus and a teenager riddled with bullets bleeding out onto a classroom floor.

And let me remind everybody once again, that the vast majority of women do not seek an abortion after 20 weeks unless the fetus has a serious birth defect or the birth endangers the life of the mother.

Friday, February 16, 2018

Sarah Palin spreading lies about the Florida school shooter on Twitter.

Clearly Palin and her cohorts do not want the truth to come out about this young man.

Fortunately Twitter justice was both fast and furious.

Yeah, he was certainly NOT a Muslim terrorist or left wing activist.

He was a victim of the same kind of thinking, and mental health issues, that also inspired Palin's son to assault and point guns at his wife and girlfriends, and to beat the hell out of the only father he has ever known.

So did Track also search for Allahu Akbar on the internet?

In the meantime back in the reality based world.....

Alt-Right Paul Ryan challenger kicked off Twitter for being a racist. Show of hands, who didn't see that coming?

Courtesy of Yahoo News:

Twitter has suspended the account of alt-right GOP candidate Paul Nehlen after he was accused of racism for a tweet about Meghan Markle, fiancée of British royal Prince Harry.

Nehlen, who is seeking to unseat House Speaker Paul Ryan in Wisconsin’s November primaries, has not spoken out about the suspension.

In the tweet, he superimposed a picture on Markle’s image of the reconstructed appearance of Cheddar Man, an ancient Briton who experts now believe was dark skinned after conducting DNA tests on his 9,000-year-old remains.

A Twitter spokesperson told Newsweek on Monday morning that "while we normally do not comment on individual accounts, I can confirm that we have permanently suspended this account for repeated violations of our terms of service."

In recent months, Twitter has removed accounts that have spread racist or abusive messages as it seeks to make the platform more user friendly.

I know, you're probably thinking "An alt-right Republican is a racist, say it ain't so."

But of course it's so.

And we undoubtedly already realized that after this ringing endorsement.

Oh yeah, if you are ever in doubt as to whether somebody is a racist or not, just find out if Palin supports them.

That puts the whole question to rest.

Meghan McCain asked if her father's choice of Sarah Palin as his running mate led to Donald Trump.

(Interesting part shows up at the 1:50 mark.) Courtesy of Mediaite:

“One thing your dad got criticized for is picking Sarah Palin,” Jones said. “Maybe he was ahead of his time.”

“Isn’t this the party of Sarah Palin?” Jones asked. “How well do you think Sarah Palin would do in the modern Republican party?”

“I still think President Trump is lightning in a bottle,” McCain responded. “I don’t think he’s going to be emulated very easily.

“I think it’s a very specific man and a very specific moment,” she added.

“The question of Sarah Palin — because I’ve heard it argued to me before, that she was sort of the opening of the populist movement within the Republican party — I’m mixed on it, because part of me thinks, yes that could be true. The other part of me thinks it was just the wave where the party was going.”

I would disagree with that last part.

I think that Palin gave voice to the very people that the Republican party had relied upon for decades but did not ever want to have their picture taken with at any events.

These were the great unwashed racists, xenophobes, and Christo-fascists who could be relied upon to vote GOP, but never felt that there were any candidates that truly represented them.

Sarah Palin did, and she demonstrated to Donald Trump that these people were the easiest to manipulate, agitate, and turn out to vote.

That is why Trump tapped Palin early on to present him to HER people, after which he summarily dismissed her and cast her back into the wilds of Wasilla.

Which is why we now find her showing up to give a speech in some bodunk county in Texas:Sarah Palin, the ninth governor of Alaska, levied accusations against the press, attacked “fake feminists” and called Texas to “revitalize our identity” during Saturday night’s Lincoln Reagan Dinner, hosted by the Denton County GOP.

The speech, which also saw a raffling off of a AR-15 shaped guitar autographed by Ted Nugent, had all of the red meat we would expect from Palin:

Palin called the area's climate “cute,” adding, “It's Texas, and there are a lot of snowflakes surviving in Texas.” In her speech, she berated news reporters for perpetuating “press propaganda.”

Addressing the “state of the news media,” she said, “It's tragic because America's finest are fighting, and even dying, for those freedoms in the free press.”“What the press likes to focus on is labeling us 'conspiratorial,’” she said.

She presented a motif of “identity” throughout her speech, emphasizing that the GOP ideology serves to uphold American values.

“Leftists say the stupidest things,” Palin said before aiming an attack at “pink-pussy, fake feminists” — namely, actress, writer and director Lena Dunham.

The crowd responded with enthusiastic applause and whistles when Palin condemned illegal immigration. People who have a problem with that, she said, can “take it up with Barack Hussein Obama and Chuck Schumer.”

Yep, these are Palin's people. The biologically dead end cousin fuckers, who demand that pro-wrestling be part of their cable package, and who eagerly fill the stands of monster truck rallies.

And now this is who also supports Donald Trump, even though he does not have a thing in common with them.

Well aside for abject racism and a disdain for liberals that is.

The young man who guessed Sarah Palin's email password, and was jailed for it, has died.

The Palins leaving the courthouse in Knoxville, TN after lying to the jury.
Courtesy of the Daily Mail:

The man who guessed the password on Sarah Palin's personal email account and posted details online when she was a nominee for vice president in 2008, died last week in California.

David Kernell, 30, died of complications related to progressive multiple sclerosis (MS) late Friday or early Saturday, according to a statement his family released on Thursday.

His family shared that Kernell had been diagnosed with MS in 2014 and began participating in clinical research trials at the Cedars-Sinai Neurosciences Research Center in Los Angeles. He hoped to help develop cures and treatments for other victims of MS, the page-long statement detailed.

Despite what the Palins would have had you believe, Kernell was actually a very kind and giving individual.

'David did not let this incident define him,' the family said, according to Commercial Appeal.

'He returned to UT Knoxville to complete his economics degree and further refined his programming skills by helping his local community.

'He first volunteered his expertise to Tennessee Voices for Children, a child advocacy non-profit group. Later, he moved to California and worked to develop facial recognition software that could identify children at risk of abuse.'

So he actually did something positive with his life, and DIDN'T just try to sell crappy diet products on the internet?

I think everybody here knows the story of the then 20 year old easily guessing Palin's password and then anonymously bragging about it on the internet, which then led to Palin calling it "worse than Watergate" and taking Bristol to Tennessee to lie to the courts about being terrified even though at the time the Secret Service were patrolling their property in Wasilla.

This led to Kernell receiving a felony charge and spending 10 months of his short life behind bars, all for a college prank.

She tried to destroy this young man's life, as she has tried to destroy so many others before and after him.

And now he's dead.
